I hate the ankle gaps on the HT trooper. It's a boot, not a shoe!

I would rather have the ankle gap and articulation than having the marmit fused ankles. Basically confines them to museum poses. If you turn the shins the HT troopers can conceal the shoe quite well and it doesn't show a gap.

Besides it's accurate, they were not boots anyways. More like Kenneth Cole city loafers.

buy used, wait until an ESB release or grab one from ebay I've seen them for $250 shipped, not too much over retail unless you have to buy it for retail price.

Ive seen them sell on ebay for 200.00-250. Sometimes a bit lower if the figure is loose, or go into a bid war in the last seconds.

Just add Hot Toys stormtrooper to your ebay notifications so it can let you know the minute one pops up. Im sure you'll get lucky and someone will need some fast cash. cheers
