Hey I'm a western millennial and I have no idea why anyone would buy one.

At least it's not as ugly as the copper chrome one...I guess?

I wish they would just release another batch of the regular Stromtrooper so I could get one.

I want to get another Trooper from the original trilogy...but I'm holding out for that 1/4 scale regular Stormtrooper. This one is definitely a bit out there...C-3PO/Stormtrooper love child haha.

I imagine they are holding out until Rogue One comes out. A "tie-in" figure...along with the Darth Vader. They will obviously both be in the new movie and would be flagship products for the film and for the holiday season figures.

I'm looking forward to all the new OT troopers. I only have the Spacetrooper so far as I have a Marmit Stromtrooper and Sandtrooper. I really hope Rogue One delivers on visuals if not story. If I see Vader on screen I'll be happy and as giddy as a kindergartener. I don't like the new TFA troopers at all.. I do want a parted out First Order Stormtrooper head though, so my OT troopers can laugh at it. But I haven't found one less than $40.

It is a "luxury figure"...Non essential even for big Star Wars fans. Not in the movies and the Empire would never EVER have a golden trooper.

Every new figure is tempting, but I'm really really holding out for the 1/4 scale Stormtrooper. Already have the 1/6th scale but I love the original design.

Btw does anyone know how much the Copper/Bronze Stormtrooper went for on Sideshow?

Well Phasma had the chrome armor but I would think that's because of her rank and I don't think normal Troopers would get special armor. I agree though that it's non essential. I bought the Shadow Trooper which hasn't been in the films yet but I think it's a more likely armor that the Empire would use.

Yeah and it has canon (comics I think and battlefront). I am 100% guaranteed there will never be a C-3PO "end of a New Hope Gold" Stormtrooper. EVER.

Yeah I regretted passing on the shadow trooper. Still am.
