As someone whose collection is three figures, I won't opine on what even a collection of 20 is.
LOL...yeah, I know. Keep in mind 20 or so is the maximum number I could wind up with across three franchises/properties.
Could easily be less as I get things in hand and start setting my final display(s). Downsizing is good, less is more. For me anyway.
The problem is squad building troops. Even as an artist I have a fascination with massed objects which creates a tension between that fascination and my minimalist penchant.

I just noticed that. Dammit. LOL...that's okay, if I find I want a couple of those I'll just get fewer regular stormies. Good eye, Sergiu, that one got right past me.

I haven't seen a single Iron Man toy fair "exclusive" that hasn't been sold on Sideshow. They'll be bringing these in by boatload (literally). It won't be tough to get one if you're interested.
I've always liked the look of the shadow trooper, but with all the SW releases by HT coming up, that will be an easy pass. I need to stick with the main characters and only get the exclusives or variants if my bank account allows. it.

I would think the short stormie would be the most popular one here. If paired with a Sideshow Vader it makes him look even taller "because it's VAADEER"TM so that should be 'frikkin' awesome and it has the added benefit that even IF the HT Vader has a more reasonable height you can still maintain the illusion by pairing him with two short troopers.

Maybe most people think a 13+ inch Vader would look ridiculous next to an 11.5 inch Stormie? Or maybe it would be more popular if it were sold on its own?

I have yet to encounter a single member bummed out that Vader isn't taller
