I have yet to encounter a single member bummed out that Vader isn't taller
You should check the Medi Vader 2.0 thread for a refresher then.
Of course that was more about the "whole package" size. But still it amused me to no end that the newer SSC Vader had proportionally thinner arms than the Medi and suprisingly many are okay with it.

You are on the right track. The Disney talking 13" Stormtrooper posed pretty good with the SSC Vader (for the oppsite effect) as well, so there will be a lot of variations out there soon so that it might work out for everyone.

That's very odd, I know a member who lives in Australia & orders from Sideshow all the time..., is it perhaps a Hot Toys thing? Maybe some other company is licenced to sell their products where you are???

Yeah its weird and annoying. It happens from time to time as I wasn't able to order the exclusive hot toys amazing spiderman 2 figure only the regular due to the same reason.
I just can't understand the reasoning behind it.

I don't want to brag, but I contact companies all the time. Sorry to make it seem like what you do in your spare time isn't cool.
Much of this is for my site, which is usually bothering companies about various cereal-related questions.
But one company I do bother a lot is Good Humor. And since the CM Punk thing, their boiler plate response has gone from "That you for your interest, we will pass along your comments" to "Thank you for your interest - due to a heavy response regarding this product, we are evaluating our product assortment..."
So, I never want to get my hopes up, but right now things are looking better than they did a year ago.
