My most wanted figure right here...so glad it made it through.

When you dropped the Crait Luke hint a while back, I wasn't sure if you were just messing with people who hated TLJ. Very glad you weren't!

So . . . any hints you're willing to give about a possible Snoke? Please . . . pretty please! It would save me a lot of time on a custom Snoke. But if HT has no plans, I'll get started on it sooner. Help a brother out here, Jack.

Looks great but I just can’t buy this. Having this in my collection will just remind me of TLJ and I’m already trying hard to forget that movie exists.

Not so hard that you've quit coming to threads dedicated to figured from that movie.

Looks like a cool figure, but I'm on the fence about it. I'd like to have only one Luke from the ST, and I'm not sure this is the best representation of Luke in ST.

Congrats, vito81! You've been patient and optimistic the whole time that this figure would materialize. I was just as hopeful, but probably not as optimistic. I'm happy for you . . . but not as happy as I am for myself.

Believe me, today is one of the best days since I collect Hot Toys... I've waiting for a figure of Master Luke many years, and I think this one is perfect.

Hot Toys Snoke would be incredible. Still holding out hope we'll see him and Krennic eventually.

Looks like I'll be one of the few here actually considering this to be the Force Projection Luke we saw at the end of the movie, and not some alternate EU version.

You’re not alone.

And it’s precisely that reason why despite it apparently looking REALLY cool, I want to say pass because it’s Luke as he was imagining/projecting himself, not the actual Luke.

I’ll have to sleep on it, because despite it being his projected self, it is likely going to be the only time he wields a lightsaber in the ST.

Not sure I'd want this over the Hermit version, or that I'd want two old Luke figures. Gonna be a tough call, probably mostly headsculpt dependent, which I imagine might be the same with reworked hair, but who knows.

Just think of it as Luke before he goes into exile. He did look like that in the flashback scene with Kylo (TFA clothes though, I know).

Not sure I'd want this over the Hermit version, or that I'd want two old Luke figures. Gonna be a tough call, probably mostly headsculpt dependent, which I imagine might be the same with reworked hair, but who knows.

That’s another thing as well. I have TFA Luke and have TLJ hermit Luke on PO. Not sure if I want a third old Luke. Though like I mentioned, of course that third version is the one where “he” does some lightsaber action.

Yeah I wouldn't want this as my only TLJ Luke, and actually kinda prefer the grayer and more ragged look he has in most of the movie. And that will be the version I'll want to display next to Han and Leia.

For me this one is just something to get because it represents a really amazing and badass scene in the movie.

Yep this one I was excited for. SDCC is next week, so no direct answers here...but and if you search through my posts long enough, you will see I've dropped plenty of cryptic hints about whats coming. LOL

I rarely just kid around about releases, cause I know what these figures mean to fans, I am a fan, so I try to only hint at what I know for sure.

This might actually be my one TLJ figure, as long as they can get the head sculpt at least SOMEWHAT close for Mark Hamill.

I’ve been following this thread all year and I’m so pleased our dreams of this Luke are actually coming to fruition! This is a day one preorder for me! IMO, TLJ is an excellent movie and this Luke is from one of the most iconic scenes in the film. He will be my first figure from the sequel trilogy, but I will definitely be picking up Kylo for a duel scene pose!

With all the excitement, I'm really happy for those who wanted this! Since I already have my Jeff Bridges/Old Luke from TFA I'm going to be kind to my bank account and not buy, but of all three trilogy Lukes, to me this would be most desireable choice.

Yep, my sentiments as well.

If I had this, it’d be in addition to TLJ hermit Luke. I’d be satisfied with having hermit Luke and not this, but not with having only this and no hermit Luke. As I mentioned, I think the big reason for that is because I do indeed consider this figure a mere Force projection; what Luke was merely imagining/projecting himself as, not the actual Luke in solid physical form.

Similar to yourself, if I were to get it, it’d be because it’s the only time (barring they come up with something utterly off the wall in IX, such as Luke not really being gone or his Force ghost for whatever reason wields a ghost lightsaber) we’ll see Luke in the ST in some form wielding a lightsaber.

Why do people feel compelled to post in a thread for a given collectible that they didn’t like the movie it comes from? I mean, no one asked, no one cares.

I’m reminded of the following joke (just replace vegan with prequel hater/TLJ hater/etc.): how do you know someone’s a vegan? Don’t worry, they’ll tell you.

Anyway, while I don’t plan on getting this particular TLJ figure, I’m happy for the numerous people who were hoping for it to be made. Enjoy, everyone!
