Damn. I voting for Harlock. I want a Queen Esmerelda figure way more than anything from Sucker Punch.

But, that may never happen because she was more of a Galaxy Express 999 character, and I don't know if I'd want her without Maetel.

I understand Darth Mitchell... It's easy to go and burn down a movie and say it doesn't deserve a figure... What the heck dude? It's a way of self defense. I use to say that. "Stop complaining, and make you're own movie, or don't watch it, leave me alone, lol." It's not a literal phrase either, its a so to speak. We are here to debate the figure/s, not the movie itself, go and debate on the Movie Discussion Thread. Go ahead and say it sucks there.

It's still stupid. I loved the movie. The movie is irrelevant. Saying "If you dont like it, then you make your own" has to work for you as well....you must love everything unless you can produce better.

If you take it literally it's stupid. I think her point is that she didn't mean it that way.

If you like it, and someone says it sucks, telling them to do it better is challenging them to impress you more than the movie did. It's a way of refusing to accept the standards of the critic, albeit a crude one.

Why does everyone take everything so serious? I only meant it in the way that it's allready hard enough to make a original movie. Everything is allready used. Just like Star Wars and Indiana Jones (2 classic movie series) are movies with influences from Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, James Bond and other old serials.

My point was that not, what you said, that you have to make a movie to give your comment about it, but you have to remember people these days are a lot harder to impress with movies

But if you don't like the movie than that's your opinion and I can't do anything about it. I only wanted to remember you to what I've said

To me it's a poll to show that HT bit off more than they can goddamn chew in previewing so many licenses considering how many are backlogged so they are going to let the "people" vote for one, push that one ahead and get people off of their backs. But hey I'm cynical. I voted Cap.

When they announced the licenses would the figures in each line already have had prototypes made or is it a case of HT saying they had the license but have not started on a prototype yet, hence the delays?

The latter I believe. I think HT announced the licenses to build hype. I'm sure they are all in various states of development, some with protos but there was a lot announced and not a lot shown and I think it's because even when those announcements hit they already had a backlog.

Ok, what I dont get...really...Im clueless, as to why people bother coming into a thread which they do not like the subject material, JUST to ____ on it and get a rise out of people. Usually, for me anyways, I only visit threads that I have a genuine interest in or I like/love the subject matter.

I mean, I understand why fans of, say Indiana Jones, comes into the HT DX05 Indiana Jones thread and complains about what they dont like about the figure. BUT why do people that DONT EVEN LIKE Sucker Punch, come into a HT Sucker Punch thread, just to ____ on it???

Makes no logical sense to me.

Im not a fan of films like Clash of the Titans remake or Resident Evil or CHronicles of Riddick or Avatar and many others, but do I go into those threads and voice how much I dislike said subject matter. No. I dont. I dont waste my time talking about stuff I DONT LIKE. I have better things to do with my life. Like talking about the things I DO enjoy.
