Haha, well in its defence, that is a screenshot, in the context of the moving images of the film and the lighting in the two face scenes (msot of them), you don't really notice the CGI being less than perfect

Oh, I know. The work they did on Two-Face is fantastic. I'm just saying, capturing it at THAT moment makes him look ridiculous. When the scene plays out you don't notice the extreme animation it takes to give him the expression.

A sculpt of that shot, no matter how great, would be ridiculously funny. Especially in a 3D portrait.

You may be right - an expression that extreme wouldn't translate to a sculpt that well, but there certainly is plenty of room for a more emotional sculpt. The anger just doesn't come through the HT version.

TBH i'd take any sort of Adam Two Face if offered. But even the screenshot I posted earlier would be a nice expression to go for, shows the anger as well as hurt:

A lot of that has to do with the eye socket, a tighter opening around the eye on the burn side can really help the Hot Toys sculpt as is.

Escalation.

Starts with a custom paint job or better fitting / more accurate clothing. And ends with completely redone figures that have virtually nothing left from the original release barring shoes and accesorries..

I think it's a cool head, which is why I left mine alone and bought a second for my customization, but, it is quite off from being accurrate to the final CGI render in TDK.

Nah, I'm very happy as well. For some reason I can tell when an actor's face is not completely right in a 1/6 copy, but don't really register when there is inaccuracies in "creature" make-up.

just ordered this guy from corner store comics.. threw him on my warmachine order. cant afford a dx joker just yet, so this guy will be batmans only villain for a while. very excited to get him.

It's also been resculpted around the eye, and I think the nose hole

Correct, I also filled in some of the holes and things that were sculpted in the original head which weren't true to the film burns.
