Mail came today and no Two-Face:monkey2 Oh well, looks like tomorrow. I plan on making the shirt look burnt and possibly putting red marks on the back of his head, as it seems HT didn't make the marks go all around the head. I will also look at the split on his face as it seems to me to harsh of a "break" from burnt to flesh. I may soften that a little also. Can't wait to examine him in person :D

It makes me think of Hubba Bubba. Only that has a big scabby dressing for the flavour. ¬_¬

Look at the dust on that keyboard, manky or what...

This phase was pretty good, it would look cooler if they'd stopped here.

I agree, it looked best as that stage. The other "Freddy" stage would look fine if he resculpted a bit to have the face a bit more healed up, which like I said I would have loved to see how his face looked in a few months or years.

How are you liking the Two Face sculpt?

I like it a lot. It looks great to me! The head does seem a bit small though, it is a smaller scale that the Harvey headsculpt, but it could be an illusion because the Two Face head is missing half of its skin, ear and a lot of facial properties that would add to the overall definition.

Exactly. Nolan's said they went the route they did with Two-Face because the more realistc look would have been more disturbing to audiences. Going the route they did, it's a powerful vision and helps aid the tragedy of his story, but it's so extreme, you don't get disgusted because it doesn't look real. Even though part of a viewer's brain will think "oh my, that poor man" another part of the brain will be thinking "ya, like that could really happen" and it keeps you from being turned off by the visual.

I wish it was more realistic looking, like gross. It would have made me pity Dent even more which couldn't have hurt. Especially with his transition into an evil Two-Face already feeling a small bit contrived. With the make up as it was, it felt a little too comic-book villainous, slightly out of the universe Nolan set up. Oh well. Still way better than Tommy Lee Jones:rotfl

I wasn't a fan of Tommy Lee as Two-face but man he had one line that I loved near the begging....

" Lets start this party with a bang !. Muhahaha !.

:lol:lol

...with his transition into an evil Two-Face already feeling a small bit contrived.

I never saw it as a transition into an "evil Two Face." It was Harvey looking for a kind of "justice" he thought would work after having so much taken from him. I always found the split personality thing in the comics kind of tired, this was far more satisfying.

But the whole thing with Gordon's kid was a bit much.

On another note, after receiving the Bank Robber Joker last night from my wife I am VERY interested in seeing Two Face in person. I can imagine how the small details really pop in person. This morning as I was getting ready to leave for work I took a look at Joker and with the light I swear the eyes appeared to be looking straight ahead, even though they do glance to the side.

It's voodoo I tells ya!:horror

For anyone interested two-face is in stock at toys2.net and only have limited quanity available. This is where I ordered mine from and it is great.

Got mine today. All I can say is "WOW". IMO HT nailed this figure. I know it's been said before a million times but the detail on both heads needs to be seen in person in order to be truly appreciated. The Eckhart head is phenomenal. Such detail is lost in photos, but I'm sure our more talented photographers (Maulfan I'm lookin' at you) will make both sculpts shine. I unfortunately have to leave for work but plan on doing work on his shirt later. My only complaint is the tie. It's made of a vinyl plastic like material and the clear plastic they used to wrap it in some of the paint rubbed off on it. Not too noticeable but it's there and the tie itself is hard to futz. Only negative I see and it's really a non issue compared to how well the rest of the figure turned out. I'll try and take some descent pics later though I'll do it no justice.

Has anyone done the perfect customization yet, such as fixing the eye, giving a nose hole, and a really impressive repaint?
