Oh, opposed to Gordon, who's a moustached guy in a suit.

Gordon has the benefit of his greater tie to Batman, and being in 2 films. As far as people in Batman's life that are consistent in comics, TV, film, Gordon and Alfred are his constant connections, so even beyond Begins and TDK, there's an importance to the character that could help sell a figure. Two Face in Nolan's world is a briefly lived persona and didn't have enough time to make an impact other than his look, which by all indications is not enough to sell a figure at retail.

Moral of the story for Hot Toys? Stick to multiple versions of Batman and Joker.

well twoface may be a guy in a suit, but for cryin out loud, hes TWOFACE! half of his suit is burned thankfully, even if the pants arent. plus, wasnt BR joker also a guy in a suit?

and the sculpt is amazing, and a must own if you are to have all 5 of the hot toys TDK figures. anyways, i just bought mine off ebay for 100 bucks with 15 dollars for shipping (i HATE shipping prices on ebay). but i still consider it a good deal since it ussually i think goes for 150 bucks or higher. i believe this will be my last TDK figure, as the others are just cashins like police/mob meeting joker (made for the ultra-fan) and the DX batman (also made for the ultra fan). thats just milking it to me. the first 5 figures, the 2 batmans, 2 jokers, and twoface, thrown in for good measure and variety, is just enough to call it a collection. now i would hope to get a Rambo figure or the new Predator.

HAHA that is great, sums up how i felt about the new batmans.

But JOker had a sweet mask. :lol

lol yeah, and that was from a pretty cool scene in the movie, plus you got the machine gun and that awsome extra joker sculpt. originally i wasnt planning on getting him either but he right in my comics shop and couldnt resist.:duh

I don't think the 'suit card' should be played in terms of TDK. EVERYONE wore a suit! :lol Gordon, Alfred, Fox, Wayne, Dent, Two Face, Scarecrow, Sal maroni, Joker and br Joker. Accept Batman they are all guys in a suit.

For me personally, I think it is a price-point issue. I found that I was in for a Dent at $85-$100, but $150 was a pass. I like the figure, and the character ... but he just cannot command the same price as Batman or the Joker. He's not as complicated, nor as popular.

To my mind, Gordon, Fox, Scarecrow, Raz or Alfred would be even less necessary than Dent -- possibly for $75-85; not even close for $150.

I guess it all depends on the person. Two-Face is pretty near the Joker in terms of my favorite villain...so for me, getting TF, The Joker, and Batman are like the big three for this movie line. And I loved what they did with the looks and story of the character in TDK as well...

i loved the look of twoface, and how they did the split face, pretty faithful and gruesomely awsome (looked real most of the time) but my only beef is 2 things: his pants/tie werent burnt, and not enough screentime.
