HT's has alotta work ahead of them. Them losing the battle (as nerdy as that sounds) to EB would be pure torture to them.

The EB Joker (imo) is a laughable release. It's a mix between the V1 HT's joker and the DX01. It's weak and lacks big time considering the price point. It's not even a "wow" figure with a weak likeness.

Yeah, I really hope that seeing the EB bats gives HT the kick in ass they need.

And I completely agree about the EB Joker, I laugh when I see people write "OHhH MeH GAWDD BEST JOKERRR FIGAH EVAH!!", and use bad lighting and lens distortion as excuses to why it looks so bad.

But whatever, to each their own.

I cannot fathom the price. I wanted to know what they would charge for these in case they did Avengers but when I saw the total, I about died. No way! But I did just spend $1200 on a prop replica. So you know, to each his own. Whomever is getting it, go you!

I mean.. when i ordered this at Ani-Com, i thought the price was already pretty hard to swallow since it was around USD65.00 more then the EB one.

With the extra mask, its only around USD380 in Hong Kong.

Well... to be fair, we get marked up crazy on Sideshow items.

Ordered the EX version from Sideshow today. I really like the figure and hope HT releases Selina and Bane in 1/4 scale a well.

I made the decision this summer to focus my collection on HT's The Dark Knight line and stop collecting the Marvel movie figures. Between the two lines there is just too much to collect and way too expensive if you want one of everything.

So I will sell off my HT Marvel collection (I basically had one every HT's figures from all the films) over the next few weeks and put it in an account to pay for the figures and vehicles from Nolan's Batman films.

It should be $380-$400 at Sideshow as well.

US retailers will have higher prices anyway since the figure is imported. Then Sideshow jackes it up even higher because, well, it's Sideshow. Screw the extra cowl, get this from AE for $420. Sideshow isn't even doing free domestic shipping for these things, so it's $45 saved.

Personally I dont consider these to be "toys". In fact i hesitate to call them action figures because it reminds of the toy section in Wal-mart. What HT does is much more and should be considered that. There is so much more craftsmanship and art that is in each and every single collectible they create. That being said, Although the price for this is steep, I think its reasonable. Just think of the man hours put into this and being a professional craftsman myself, its more than most people think. Would a print of series of lets say...Banksy be on the less expensive side of things? no, so why would this be?

well who ever sold those to you, lost a ton of money unless they were highly used and worn, or missing pieces? $190 shipped Batpod is below retail price for when it was originally released.

Well, i'm considering selling my DX02 just to cover the DX12, so not really that high of a price either.

The Joker is 100% complete, bats was missing one belt, but came with Lforigno's Movie Template Cape.
And a torn arm which wasn't disclosed to me prior to buying.
