I remember years ago, the first MMS, I went through two replacement Endo arms as the fingers kept breaking off. On that second replacement, they still broke off, so I gave up. Hopefully they've since remedied that.

This needs to be shown to the guy that freaking sculpted it, so he can fix it! Seems like the same old issues over and over that never get resolved, but here we are again 10 yrs later. I wish HT would hire you as a consultant for their Terminator line.

The thing is I'm like Captain Hindsight in SouthPark. Great at seeing the problem only after it's already too late to actually do anything about it. I think I really have to see something physical and fully painted before I slowly start seeing how it's wrong. So I don't know how useful I'd be to Hot Toys. I'd need P. on the job with me....and for us both to be allowed work from our respective homes because travelling terrifies me. Ironic and yet quite fitting of the stereotype of a sci-fi nerd who loves Spaceships 'n ***t.

It's frustrating isn't it? I think I'll stop asking Hot Toys to make Arnie figures now. They've had enough attempts and enough time, they just don't seem to have his likeness in them. It's like as soon as they hit one or two recognisable Arnie features they think the job is done and they just haphazardly colour in the rest. InArt? You're up!

Yeah, no ***t. I'm worried about my Dad flying to Las Vegas to see The Eagles at the Sphere - next month I think. He never goes anywhere either - as soon as he is, plane crashes all over the news.

In Vegas right now for a business trip, but I’ve tried to keep up with what everyone’s saying on this!

And after seeing more Secret Base footage, I’m actually quite pleased with it. But yes, I like a-dev’s edit, subtle changes to the stock sculpt would go a long way.

The skin texture is too gravely. They're trying to simulate pores and such, but you shouldn't see that at 1/6. Sometimes you have to exaggerate detail in the proto to counter the softening in production, but a better paint job would do wonders. My Queen Studio 1:1 scale bust isn't that rough which is as it should be.

You're not gonna get near that level of texture in figure form, in hand. Prototype > Final will clear that right up.

Didn't keep me from ordering a couple. I'll add them to the other 58 just because. Been getting spoiled with top end customs from KP.

Beyond frustrating, but we’re use to it. Will InArt get the job done?Hopefully, I have their Gandalf and Aragorn figures and they’re both impressive. Fingers crossed InArt can deliver cause this new HT offering is an easy pass for myself at the moment. I already have a full detolf filled with the other ones. Don’t need anymore, unless it’s something incredible.

Haven’t been to Vegas in about 20 yrs, but heard the Sphere is an incredible venue. Your old man should have a wonderful time and I’m sure the Eagles will put on a heck of a show

Inart is a fine company and the figures they produce are generally top notch. They're not king tho. They're not just stomping all over HT.

But I like that they make Howard squirm just a hair, in his seat. Competition is what InArt brings to the table.

And we're all the better because of it.

I don't do Transformers...about the only thing I don't do. 58 Hot Toys and custom Terminator figures. Actually it might be more than that. KP studios does the best custom Terminator stuff because the guy is actually a Terminator fan and cares about the subject matter.

Unfortunately, if you're not 100% into the licenses they HAVE secured, InArt prolly won't be on your radar for at least 3 yrs.
