I think they’re fine as is per your edit tbf. And the DX10 glasses do the job too even if they don’t adjust the new stock glasses.
And another update: someone posted the edits on their pages (album and banner post).
These were the comps I made. The GIF didn’t work for me when I tried posting in the groups.

The glasses in my edit remind me of the DX10 ones actually - which I did always think were slightly off in shape.
I do recognize that the sunnies, while much improved from what Hot Toys did, are still not perfect. To my eye the frame on the left particularly (our left) angles up too high when you compare it to the reference pic of Arnie. Yet why would it just be that side? And so I thought it might be because on Arnie they sit somewhat lopsided - whilst in my edit they're on him totally straight. Given my doubts I didn't try to do anything else with them and went back to work on everything else.
a-dev about to become a household name amongst T2 fans!
It's a shame I can't sculpt!
@a-dev just returned to the thread and saw your incredible work! The adjustments are excellent and further stressing some of these on the glasses would perfect the sculpt.
The glasses still appear slightly large and the shape could be adjusted. The nose bridge could be straighter and the bottom corners could be steeper. Lastly, the side arms could be thinner too. HT's glasses have too much of a modern Rayban appearance rather than an early 90s retro feel.
Thanks Pianoteam. Do you think the sunnies are too large horizontally or vertically aswell? I didn't change the vertical dimensions of them, all I did was lift the nose bridge and stretch them horizontally more to the edges of his face and maybe did limited manual redrawing for anything that went out of whack in that process. Possibly I went the smallest way too far in the horizontal stretching?
And when you say the nosebridge, are you saying there's still too much of a V shape there?
Now, as for the sidearms, while you're not wrong about those I figure what's the point in narrowing them when I'm sure they'd simply have to be made to an inaccurate thickness anyway to reduce fragility.
By the way, if anyone else wants to have a crack at adjusting the sunglasses I welcome it. If there's a manipulation that can be done with photoshop or something.
@a-dev's corrections certainly elevate the sculpt significantly. But if I had to pick ONE change, oddly enough my eye is drawn to the width of the neck. That makes a big difference in my eyes in the change. Which fortunately, if the sculpt never changes, then that's something we all have experience in adjusting by padding out the inside of the neck.
This is why a lot of us wish they'd ditch the ball-joint head on Arnie figures. His neck is a distinctive part of his overall likeness and the generic muscle body necks never fit the bill - especially when they have to narrow as they go toward the top for a separated head to fit on. The new figure as it stands seems to be no exception, the neck looks really awkward in some of the shots such as the one below. Like his head is plopped on top of a pyramid.
