I wonder if they could get away with making it but not having anything on it stating it's a Harley, if just mirroring the design is enough to owe Harley a percentage.

If it wasnt going to say harley I wouldnt buy it.

actually i put in an offer of $60 +shipping before and they accepted but then I backed out as I won a bid on a cheaper one

Yeah that was a special circumstance. it was best offer and the conversation carried on with Q&A and accepted my offer but never actually accepted my submission, so I never had a chance to pay for it while in parallel I saw an auction up as well and which I ended up winning
