Well, the craftsmanship on Sarah matches T-800, from accessories to paint work to sculpt, but, and this isn't even character based, I'm not as excited about her, mainly because, this figure is pure eye candy for the shelf. She's well made and looks great, but, the arm articulation is very poor to get a good range of realistic and nice looking poses, so the fun factor, to me, is taken away from her becaue of it. I don't know why they wouldn't have just made her arms like the Wolverine and T-800 bodies, that method is great in my book, looks almost like a sleeved arm would with minimal joint showing, but still jointed enough and in ways that can achieve mose poses you could want. It's really too bad because if the posability were there this figure would be great. Still glad to have her and will still get the T-1000 version, but like I said, the excitement is a bit deflated by her limitations.

Also, while the final HS is much better produced on Hot Toys' Sarah, I still feel like Trevor did a better job capturing the likeness of Hamilton and attitude of Sarah in his sculpt than Yulli.

I was good with my SS one until you posted side-by-side shots like that. The SS outfit really pales by comparison, so does the body and neck.

The hat works really nice on the HT figure, the problem is, even if you get it on tight to her head, it looks a bit high because he whole head is a bit more elongated than it should be, if it was squished a bit and the hat made relative to that proportion change, she'd probably look out of the movie.

And someone commented about using the Sideshow hat, won't work, quite bigger than the HT head, would look rediculous on it.

Between the 2, I feel HT wins for everything but sculpt and articulation, as ugly as the female Buck is, it's more posable than HT's body, and I'd have given up some of the looks of the HT body to get a bit more articulation in the arms, not sure why the bicep doesn't swivel like male muscle arms.

Rant: I am done ordering from Sideshow....got my notice from UPS yesterday saying sig needed - no problem! I signed/dated my notice today...looking forward to getting this figure....and BAM! Another notice....called UPS. They need a live signature....WRONG ANSWER! Just too much of a hassel ordering from SS with this stuff.....!!!!

Thats why I ordered from BBTS - I can't be home for a signature...BUT (the big BUT) BBTS hasn't even shipped out T-800...at this rate I'll probably have to wait much longer for SC...

Just contact Sideshow for a Signature Waiver form, I've used to for Sarah and T-800.

The end result, i'm pretty pleased, but still the hat looks too big, something a Russian soldier would wear.

Btw, its not the end result, i was tired last night missed a few errors, i need to unbutton the duty belt and also add the knife. Also the HT AR15 is a later model then the one used in the film, i've bough a correct version from monkey depot that will be used.

Looks great cyber! Where did you get the bag?

Sarah and t800 should be here any day now, can't wait!

After the reveal of the T-1000 today, I pulled the trigger on Sarah too. Gotta have her in the HT collection.

Everything you said is word for word what I've worried about in regards to this figure.

I was about to PO this version a few weeks back, right before the ConEx pics hit, but drug my feet for a day or two and because of that I was given more to think about with the T-1000/Sarah. At that point I decided that I would just wait till the PPO on the ConEx Sarah to see if I could score that version and if so I would buy that over this one. Anyway, in the back of my head I've been worried about, as you said, this figure being little more than "eye candy". I'm not terribly excited about the figure as is but knowing that she's not really capable of holding a dynamic pose I'm really thinking about skipping her altogether now (both versions).... And part of me is getting tired of dropping money on figures that, to me, are little more then complimentary pieces.

I actually like the elongated head more than the SSC's squashed head... hmmm...
