That's one impressive looking figure. I might get this guy or the white hair version (if they make him), not because it's a good film, but because I have the 84, the 91, and the idea of having the same character during different stages of aging, sounds cool.

The head sculpt is awesome. I have no interest in the figure though. Just strikes me as unimpressive. I agree with you all on the fear that they may not do anything further than this figure. My only reason to hold out for hope on this is because it is Terminator and in the past HT has always done multiple figures. All I have to say is that if they don't do a 1/6 diecast endoskeleton there will be hell to pay!!!!

The potential from this line is staggering only question is how far will they go. My prediction on the possibilities:
Grey haired Pops - Almost guaranteed
Pops variants without giving away spoilers - Almost guaranteed
Asian T-1000 - unlikely
John Connor variants - high probability
Sarah Connor - hopeful but unlikely
1/6 endoskeleton - hopeful but unlikely
Kyle reese variants - unlikely

Sadly it is easy to predict the craziness of HT. The figures that everyone would want like the 1/6 diecast endo.... is there any terminator fan out there who doesn't want this? For some reason HT will probably not make, but they'd make a crazy decision like oh lets make a 12 year old Kyle Reese LOL.

I'd venture to say that Asian T-1000 is actually quite probable if they make anything else at all. Easy figure to make.

I ordered this. As a Arnold fan it was a must have. I used a little bit of reward points I had to get him a bit cheaper plus the deposit so basically will be paying below $200 and I can accept that price.

Saw the movie yesterday and LOVED IT!!!! I wasn't expecting to like it at all.

Just saw the movie and thought it was terrible, i went in with rock bottom expectations. it was like watching a really bad version of T2 . Emilia clarke didn't impress me which is a shame as i love her in GoT. Jai courtney well he's still awful. Arnie was the best thing about the movie but im not going to pay the asking price they have on him ATM.

The only thing i really want to see like everyone is a new endo, they are in the film enough times, people will buy them so i don't see any reason hot toys won't dip their toes further in.

Same here, totally loved it. However, regarding this figure, I remember this pattern on damage (knowing this figure before seeing the film, I was specifically looking out for that face damage) on his face in 2017, hence his hair on that sculpt should be grey. I'll still grab it but shame it won't be out until next year.

I was trying to see why this figure may be a little higher than it should and I think besides the two head sculpts the Leather Jacket is made by Matchless instead of Hot Toys. I alss was reading in the other thread that this was a movie promo figure.

Hot Toys states that the "leather-like jacket" is "licensed by the oldest British brand of motorcycles and clothing - Matchless", not that they made it.

So Hot Toys got extra licensing to make the figure more authentic - something they didn't do with figures such as Star-Lord or Marty McFly.

Very true sorry I didn't mean they made it. Maybe for the proto but it's good they got it licensed. Still could be the reason why the price went a little bit up.

As there isn't much to this figure they probably did decide to spend the extra on licensing.

Whereas Star-Lord and Marty McFly are already more complex (or more loaded with extras) to make it worthwhile going the extra mile with product accuracy.

Very true. Honestly they could of gave him his 2017 outfit and a Grey Hair Head Sculpt and M16 or Teddy Bear with shotgun. Just some extras that would make it worth the price or even a bit more. I still ordered because I am an Arnold fan and he's a must have no matter what.

I saw the movie this weekend and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I really liked that they incorporated a lot from T1. I will definitely be picking this guy up to put with my other Arnold's.
