Yeah, it's always a risk with a moderators weighing in re: "political content" like what you've posted (as opposed to discussing figures/thread topic,) but if they agree with that political content, you'll be fine with no warning/deletion/penalty. But technically that is indeed at minimum "poiltical discussion adjacent."

The issue here is we don't see everything. We are not omniscient. Dont even think I would want to be. What a burden that would be you know? Knowing the movement of every atom, the outcome of every situation, it would be boring but also so much responsibility especially if you lacked omnipotence so you're just observing, slowly going mad due to your inability to enact change.

Anywho, if you see anything political please report it. We try to go with light touch moderation. If it's straddling the rules we tend to leave it till we discuss it, or members provide more feedback.

Eloquently said and heartily agreed with, but... also sidestepping the central point: at least one comment was deleted without explanation 4 or so days ago, while the political comment (of a kind - supporting Disney/LFL/"fan critical" positions - that is nearly always deemed non-offending despite often being provocatively worded and political, sometimes derived from showrunners themselves being overtly/inappropriately political) that started this was left untouched.

There can't be a deletion AND an oversight due to non-omnipotence. We wouldn't be having this conversation if the comment hadn't been deleted.

And my original comment was in response to a political comment, so it makes more sense to tell the other member about feeling free to request access to the political content section than me. Ironically... in that deleted comment I used the words "save it for the Dark Rooms."

Anyway, appreciate the response, moderators are obviously already spread super thin, so yes let's just chalk this up to a "don't respond, report" lesson - for all concerned - and get back to discussing Acolyte figures.

It seems like the assumption is tacet approval, and more than likely the post you're referring was just straddling or we failed to consider the context. As a team we are new and we are learning to work together.

Light touch. That's our goal. The mods have been instructed to remove the least amount possible when it comes up. That said if you feel there is uneven moderation my inbox is always open. My goals are not geared to any person or persons. It is to a central idea of how to allow CF to be the best CF it can and I depend on many voices to do that.

If you feel something wonky is afoot, shoot me a pm. Some of you have. I'm sure those people can attest to my reasonableness. I want what's best for the community. We all do. Mods, members, the bots prowling the site trying to get in to learn how to be human.

Help me out. Send me a pm or report the post you think should have been removed along with why. As I said in my last post we do often let things sit to see if we get additional reports. I'd rather something sit for 48 hours than crack down. Forums are supposed to be fun, not a totalitarian fantasy. I don't own the leather.

I thought the same thing last night. If there's one thing I want from this show, it's HIM! He will look great next to the CW Sidious coming. Maybe a 3rd party will make him.

Exactly! For me, this show doesn't exist and the real canon is the masterful Plagueis novel.

I just want Sol and Qimir still, they both carried the show, the way they fight eachother is the closest we've ever gotten to those Old Republic cinematics in live action.

Its not gonna happen now because they'll wait till season 2 and a full reveal of the character. Will they make him? Likely. Just not right now. I bet we get another Yoda out of season 2, too.

Hell, they're making Darth Revan and Starkiller and they haven't been in any show, so HT could easily make a "Legends" version of Plagueis that just happens to look eerily similar to how he appeared in this show lol...

To make that shot there would be concept art, maybe a sculpted model for reference then 3D model (if CGI) or full costume with prosthetics (if done practical) sometimes both.


That is a lot of material for HT to make a figure from, even if the final show all we got was a glimpse.


If they think it will sell and justify cost of production and if licensor approves, it will happen.
