I've seen that too with the cancelation fee but I recently canceled my crow and it said that cancelation fee thing but didn't have to pay anything.

well my long foot pegs and sword have come ordered black handle sent red..repaint methinks.lets see how he looks.

Thanks man.
It is a pain to put hair on figure.
Takes a Lot of patience.
I probably could have still fixed that custom head, but after spending lots of time meticulously applying the hair,
It was disheartening to try to do it again when the head cracked.

Not sure what you're using but I can recommend Morezmore Tibetan lamb fur doll hair on eBay.
Its what I used on my jack sparrow and I think thats what Elvis uses also on his customs with hair.
Its very similar to fine human hair.

Looked good Remy, sorry to hear you broke it!, its happened to me before as well, especially when sculpting parts, everything looks great then...crack.
yeah and you are right about hair, two types I use, one is the tibetan lamb wool, another is a less curly wiry one.
I would recommend dying them to make them more realistic, it takes the doll look off them and you get more tonal difference and they just look more realistic for some reason. And only use the tips of the fur.

:)yeah rory how's the progress.what you gonna charge $500+:lol
well redone sword handle..swords ok I suppose.added long foot pegs, does give him about 1/4'' more height
and give a longer looking leg.got some cheap guns (not movie accurate)..they suit the expression more.
some more not too great pics..:lol

:lol Nah, don't know if I will even try to do any for commissions, hairing 20+ Joker heads has dampened that experience for me!
I will see how I get on...

I did the first one black, before watching the movie again and realising it was dark brown! Just dying some new hair for it. Think I will try one that looks wet, I got some super cool new goo that dries like water droplets. So I think I will give him a real wet down..If I could just spend a day or so on it! Time is not my friend at the moment, too much to do!

They do suit the expression (the old Action Man Lebel and Colt .45!)

He looks great there.

I think I'll have him like that with his guitar on his back. Eric Draven: El Mariachi!

Man, I know you're a perfectionist so I know that doing all those commission with hair is a pain.
And I agree that time is a big factor in modding.
I have a few projects to do, some repaints and mods but I usually do well when I'm feeling creative.
But coming home tired from work everyday, I don't want to do a half-*** job so I've been putting it off.

The wet hair with the water droplets sounds like a neat idea.

I know the feeling man. It usually happens to me when I'm sculpting necks :( but cool I'll check out that Tibetan lamb hair for sure. What kind of glue do you use? I was just using some superglue but it didn't work too well :lol

Cool thanks for the tips Rory :hi5:

I think the glue is your issue. :lol
I use Fabri Tac glue. Works well with Doll hair.
Its very sticky gel like substance that's easier to work with on doll hair.

This stuff.

Awesome pics paramore! I'm still loving him. Really need a new detolf so he has a shelf though.

I just made another review for my latest figure and this guy was my first review so I wasn't sure if any of you guys would like to check it out!

Great likeness of a great man's son! If anyone knows what I'm talking about then you know your stuff! I'd buy if it was all leathers, real leathers, but I'm thinking it's not gonna be. Would be nice. Hot Toys did this with their Terminator DX10, but sadly didn't with the the previous version and it seems they're still going with pleather. I try to stay away from faux leathers. Not good. Very nicely done Crow though.

So at this stage do you have to call them to cancel the item? U can't just do it online?

I cancelled my EX online yesterday.
Figure looks great .... just decided to stick to my no 1/6 figure rule :)

Was surprised that no NRD was ever charged with figure. So I didn't lose any money.
In my account it was actually stated that this figures payment plan was 'Full' as opposed to 'Full with NRD' as per my other orders.
