I cancelled my EX online yesterday.
Figure looks great .... just decided to stick to my no 1/6 figure rule :)

Was surprised that no NRD was ever charged with figure. So I didn't lose any money.
In my account it was actually stated that this figures payment plan was 'Full' as opposed to 'Full with NRD' as per my other orders.

So you were going to flex this, hence why it said payment plan?

I just pulled the head apart. Quite easy for a change, the teeth are a separate piece, stuck in from behind. The forearms are a single sculpted piece, which makes the body swapping a bit trickier. Hmmm...

Wow this I got to see you will be able to change the teeth just by pulling the plate out? Will you then mod the teeth by re-sculpting them or just put in another plate with teeth that will fit?

we need PICTURES rory:lol, the arms are gonna give body swaps a problem.will the shirt come out from underneath the arms.
maybe a slice through the tapes will let it peel off and do your own with black electrical tape:dunno (says me a novice),your the man to do it if anyone can
interesting about the teeth plate.

that was just a quick mess around..yeah he needs a neck:lol here's some still without the neck peg but with some blue tac around the join for a firm fit.....notice the neck now:wink1: just need to find the right height,so i'll continue messing around.

Congrats on the Crow Chris...been meaning to pop over and take a look :) just love the detail in this figure...if only I collcected 1/6 scale :lol :panic:

Still a great movie :exactly:

well hellooooo andy:lol.great movie indeed.figure is really good, I(we?) still think hair is still too short, and a better body should have been used.
but yeah generally happy with it.
love a 1/4 scale...I seem to be drifting away from 1/6.

So if this was a 1/4 scale figure you would buy it?

definitely Steve! Infact, I had the NECA version abt 5 years ago (was it Neca that came with the crow?) that was awesome! The movie has special significance to me cos my ex (first love) :lol :lol was a goth chick and she introduced me to this movie, then went on to try and dress me like him by buying the long leather jacket and asking me to grow my hair!! :lol hence, why she is now an ex!! :wink1:

yea, it is slightly short mind you. I think its a great figure! :rock

WIP:
New body. Cut neck off of head sculpt and used sculpted neck and chest. No more weird bumpy shoulders without coat. Made him taller also.

holy crap!!! looks even more like Brandon without the hair..great body swap,i see the shirt was full length sleeves.easy to remove tape on arms rory?
without the grin/teeth showing.that would make a great casual Brandon lee figure.great work.

Just what I was going to post. It's a really great sculpt under that hair.

That's looking fantastic already.

With a lot of the in-hand pictures I've been beginning to regret ordering this, due to the odd shoulders and the bulkiness of the coat.

What body did you use?

:thud: That looks excellent.

Thanks man!

Yes! It does look a hell of a lot more like him without the hair, I think the body shape and neck help a lot also.
It really is a much better sculpt than I thought it was.

The arm "tapes" are not removable. It's actually a sculpted forearm, the only way to get it off is to snap it off and release the fabric underneath. I didn't mind doing that because I am attaching those forearms to a new body (which is actually easier than I thought it would be), but my work area was carnage for a while, I was sawing off arms and legs..:lol

Thanks, it's getting there I think. I used a bruce Lee torso, on the original Crow body with extended ankle pegs. I cut the entire head up to fit the sculpted neck on the Bruce body. Then I cut another spare head (from an old stock HT TT) up and got the parts to reconnect the Crow head, so now it's a perfectly functioning HT head again, albeit on a muscle neck. I chopped the arms on the BL body off and attached the new Crow sculpted forearms.

That's it for now, think I will quit before slicing a finger (mine) off! :lol

I will post a complete "recipe" for anyone who is interested in trying it when I'm done.

No gain without pain, but protect those fingers, because you're going to need them!

That's a lot of work, but it's paying off. Can't wait to see this completed.

I'm not brave enough to go that far with my toys (not the expensive ones anyway), so I'll have to futz the hell out of him instead!

yep same here.i didn't mind highlighting the hair,or trying an easy body swop.my skills are nowhere near that.
