I'm still in awww over the fact that we are finally getting this figure. The crow has been at the top of my wish list for a long time. $240 seems high to me, however I cringe to think of how much I would actually be willing to pay for this figure.

Where did you get the $240 amount?

How about "dollgure"? :lol (there actually were some Capcom toys marketed as dollgures...I always thought that was odd)

$240? Is that official or did I miss something?

Been in my top 5 forever. And yeah, where you getting the $240 estimate from?

a few Brandon Lee Crow tidbits for those that care....
the two stunt men who appear as Eric Draven are Chad Stahelski and Jeff Cadiente.

"After Lee's death, his fiancée Eliza Hutton and his mother supported director Alex Proyas' decision to complete The Crow. At the time of Lee's death, only eight days were left before completion of the movie. A majority of the film had already been completed with Lee and only a few scenes remained to be done.
To complete the film, stunt double Chad Stahelski, who was a friend of Lee's at the famed Inosanto Academy, was used as a stand-in; special effects were used to add Lee's face onto the stunt double. Another stunt double named Jeff Cadiente was also used to complete the movie. These scenes were filmed after Lee's death:
Eric Draven's death in flashbacks.
A scene with Eric walking into his apartment after returning from the dead was digitally composited from a scene of Lee walking into an alleyway with raindrops added. The rest of the scenes in the apartment were all done with the double.
Lee's face was digitally superimposed onto the stunt double when Eric puts on make-up in front of a mirror and walks toward the broken window of his apartment.
When Sarah (Rochelle Davis) visits Eric, his face is not seen, as he is being played by the stunt double.
The scene of Eric playing his guitar on the rooftop is played by one of Lee's body doubles.
In the scene in which Eric Draven kills secondary villain T-Bird (David Patrick Kelly), he does not speak, nor is his face shown; the close-up of Draven's face was from a deleted shot.
A scene in which Eric Draven is running on the rooftops from the police after a shootout was filmed with a double, as was his escape in a police car."

I saw the HT Crow/Eric Draven figure on eBay for $240 and another one for $214. Maybe that's where he got the $240 price....

Those early HK sellers are likely scalping, so the price must be lower than what they're asking. Maybe that $177 estimate isn't too far off.

I love this figure, fantastic likeness! simply can not wait for it's release.
It needs more accessories though.

1. Shotgun
2. samurai sword
3. handguns
4.Gasoline
5. a cooler stand (Grave/Rooftop)
6. Round window loft backdrop
7. one of Tintins knifes

Please make it happen Hot Toys:pray:

If they add all of these accessories, then the price is gonna by way higher than $ 240, I think.

Those are pre-orders though right?

I meant more like how long until we can buy in stock ones. The 3 sideshow exclusives are out now I was wondering if the Ani-com ones will follow suit or do we have a longer wait in store for us?

These are regular releases, so they'll take just as long to come out as any other HT figure. Release date in the description says Q1-Q2 2014. We'll probably see a Sideshow preorder in the next week or two, but these won't actually be in-stock for a while.

I see, gives me plenty of time to save up then, just gotta hope Sideshow includes the weather vane or I'll be overpaying like a ******* just for an extra piece of plastic...

Thanks for the help.

Never seen the crow before, just put it on. I like the look of the figure so ill see if its a buyer

Whoever controls Lee's likeness (probably his mother but maybe his fiancé) won't allow any Crow figures to include firearms for obvious reasons.

The weathervane is the only weapon to ever be included with a Crow figure.
