I think we can see that gap between the teeth in the magnified photos, but once we got the figure in hand, it won't look as bad in person.
I like that he's smiling. Having seen the movie, and knowing the whole background, the smile makes the figure a little more sinister.

No. Not in the slightest.
There is no gap there. It's the paint used to show that there are two teeth there.
What I was thinking as well....I don't see a gap moreso paint showing the individual teeth.
I think it's a combination of that and the sculpt that exaggerates the indent between each tooth. Less is more when it comes to things like this; the busier those kinds of areas look, the less realistic they are.
The figure only looks odd in the official pics though, OMG's con shots are gorgeous.

Some people are just really bad with faces... it's ok.

I'm kind of surprised with all the criticism mainly because this is something that I and a lot people never dreamed would happen, yet I'm not surprised because there is always go to be people critiquing. I just wish there would be a little less critiquing and a little bit more rejoicing.

I don't really have much issues with this. I honestly wouldn't care if they released it "as is." Some of the critiques are merited, but if they aren't corrected it's not a deal breaker at all. It's Eric Draven, nuff said.
