You guys never cease to amaze me. This is one of HT's best sculpts ever and it still is met with hate And we finally get a Gordon and people automatically assume there will be another version I think we're lucky to get one Gordon, let alone several. Next people would pass on Alfred because he was in his sweater intead of a normal suit

Just a few points everyone should know:

-This is a Asian Toy Fairs exclusive
-Its more limited than a regular release figure
-It will be in stock at the Asian Toy Fairs
-Being ready now means there will be NO changes, what you see is what you'll get
-This will be available through Sideshow just like the Captain America
-Expect it to be a pre-order, not in stock from Sideshow
-Could go up for pre-order any time now, wouldn't expect it to sell out super quickly (see Captain America again), but I wouldn't delay on ordering him either

I think the figure is damn near perfect. Im not interested in a SWAT Gordon, but I can easily bash something together with this sculpt and make it look SUPERB.

I hate the sculpt, it's ____ing terrible.


Gonna wait for the inevitable regular gordon release.

Hopefully Alfred is next in his butler suit.

It would seem likely, but HT works in mysterious ways.

But lets put it this way, we shouldn't have this in hand until after TDKR is in theaters.

Gaw, I just really hope they give us Alfred in the TDKR scene where he dons the original Batman Begins suit and sacrifices himself to save his lover, Fox.

Which would you say you like better Umair, Denny Kim's or this one?

My first impression was that I definitely preferred Iminime version.

After looking at a lot of pics, I can say there's things the HT one has more accurate, and vice versa. So it's close, the clincher will be when I have them in hand

For example I think the shape of the iminime glasses is more accurate, but the HT one is much better detailed. The moustache shape is also more accurate on the iminime. Iminime also captures his age better IMO.
On the other hand the HT has a more accurate hairline and more finely detailed hair sculpt. It also has nice detail on the forehead and around the eyes. The eyes themselves however, I find more accurate on the iminime
My biggest fear right now is the HT head turning out to be undersized, I really hope not because apart from using him as is, I plan to get another one to bash as a younger Jim Gordon from Begins.

My Iminime will be the TDK trenchcoat version.

Sculpt looks pretty damn good to me, although I'm going to roll the dice and wait for a proper trench coat Gordon. I feel like it's a fait accompli.

just get this for now and if they dont release the trench coat gordon you still have this just add a trench coat later.

I totally agree with all this. Especially that this will be the only Gordon.

I'm totally loving this version!

I hope Sideshow gives fans a decent window of time to order this. I remember when figures would go up for pre-order and sell out within an hour. It was so frustrating to be at work and know a desired figure would be sold out by the time you could get to it. Having a figure up for a couple days with a TBD number has been great for me as a collector and I hope great for Sideshow.

Anyway, I'll be checking in every day with fingers crossed.

You bring up a VERY important point

This DEFINITELY needs to be on a shorter body. Gary Oldman is 5 '10 and that means the figure should stand shorter than the Batmans and Jokers in our collections

It's no big issue. Just shorten the neck and he'll look perfect!
