Yeh just because it was a limited offering initially in HK doesn't mean that for the rest of the world it's more like the Ex version of the Mark 33 or 43 (extra helmets) in comparison to the Python which was a truly limited number as they could be offered in similar amounts for the sake of an extra piece and for me an extra £10.

I don't recall ever seeing anything sell out in 1 or 2 days via Sideshow. If someone else can remember something going that fast, let us know.

HK had 300 units. Japan had 900 units. My guess for the US would be a few thousand.

The TRU exclusive by all accounts is done. 300 units with that different stand were pre-produced. The other figures are pre-order and will come with the normal HT TFA hexagon stand.

I was pleasantly surprised by this aswell.

Snap, one of the 2 local retailers sometimes gets a couple of the exclusives but it's normally something which sells pretty quickly, was glad I could get this locally for a guaranteed price (which I know if on the day the exchange rate dipped I could get it cheaper but therrs no guarantee it would go the way of a strong pound)

Tbh I think I prefer the regular base to the TRU one, least it will be uniform to anything else from the First Order... Wonder what the stands for the heros will look like?

The Stealth Mark VII Iron Man went to waitlist in a couple hours not too long ago, think I remember someone saying that was the quickest.

Just did my first sideshow pre-order for the squad leader. I usually avoid ordering from Sideshow because of the Ca tax and high shipping rates, but couldn't pass up on the exclusive. Mickey Mouse has a vice grip on everyone's sack this year.

Avengers Mark VII Battle Damage exclusive.. sold out in under a half hour I think.

For the price difference why not, if your only gonna possibly buy the one Trooper it's not that much more for this one.

I'm debating it, but that's because I'm loving the influx of Star Wars items hitting the market after so long with minimal selections! That said, I'm basically a 95% pass, simply because I'd rather order the two-pack of Troopers, and have those represent the Troops in my collection. I like how the shoulder armor is different, and the chest plate is a little different, but I don't plan on selling these, and with the exchange rate this one would cost over $300 Canadian. I think I'd rather get the other two, and then Captain Phasma whenever she's made available. Then save the money here for other characters that'll be flowing out of Hot Toys in the coming months!

That said, it's all personal opinion! Some love exclusives, and some just love Stormtrooper armor as much as others love collecting all the Iron Man armors!
