I think this figure is an excellent likeness of Hamill/old Luke.

This head sculpt is better than TFA but the whole hermit vibe just sat wrong. It needs an alternate universe version with a look more in keeping with the Skywalker from my childhood.

I want an old 'young' Luke from the flashbacks and towards the end. I'm not really interested in this one.

I assumed if you came into this thread after movie release you'd expect spoilers but there you go.

Yeah I dont think its that bad, Luke was definitely the best part and I can appreciate what they did with him. I want this fig and another of his more special look as well, my shelf would look great with rotj, that other look and this figure as a final version

I'm considering reordering ROTJ Luke to have that and TLJ side-by-side. It would be a cool display. Hammil was amazing in TLJ.

After watching TLJ last night I'm waiting for Force Projection Luke from the final showdown.

Ordered the deluxe figure with the $20 code I got with Stormtrooper Han. I had a load of issues with the Last Jedi, but most didn't have to do with Luke, and I thought Hamill's performance was excellent. Didn't hate the TFA version, but this sculpt looks to be clearly improved--see more hints of Hamill. Also was happy to see that they didn't permanently ditch the TFA outfit for the rest of the movie.

I PO'd this as well.

If I'm going to have a figure of Han from his final appearance in SW, I'm certainly going to have one of Luke as well (final living appearance at least).

Well votes are pretty much in, it just shows how stupid the Rotten Tomatoes system is.

The Last Jedi : 93% critics (based on 285 votes), 56% fans (based on 75,000 votes)
Justice League : 40% critics (based on 289 reviews), 80% fans (based on 115,993 votes).

Go figure......

Because people don't know how Rotten Tomatoes works. And yes RT critics rating just stupid. Critics should give movie rating by numerical number with detailed analysis instead just YES or NO. Still dumbfounded people using RT a pedestal of movie rating.

They do give the movie a rating... it's under the score "average rating".

The "main" RT score just goes by whether the rating the reviewer gave it is above 60% or not.

avg critic rating 8.2/10

avg user rating so far 3.3/5 (6.6/10)

How RT presents all this is a confusing mess though and misleads a lot of people. I hate it. IMDB is way better.

Movie ratings are not a scientific measure of truth, folks. :lol

The only thing I can see demonstrated by the RT “critics rating vs audience rating” is that the movie divided fans, as expected. It doesn’t show that critics are wrong and audiences are right. In matters of opinion there is no “right”; only “agree” or “disagree”.

Exactly. These are people's subjective opinions.

I honestly think a lot of the discrepancies are the result of hardcore fans pushing back against the review scores. Hardcore DC fans who liked "Justice League" were more motivated to go to RT and score it, just as hardcore Star Wars fans who hated "Last Jedi" were more motivated to go to RT to score it to push back against the "official" review scores that they disagreed with.

People who saw the movie that weren't as tied to previous canonical versions of Luke and the Star Wars universe also seem to like the film considerably more than those who were.

This movie does something different, and it looks like a lot of fans just wanted more of "The Force Awakens," which plays out more like an homage to the original trilogy than a new movie, instead of being interested in exploring new ideas and views of the force and this universe.

Though with critic ratings, I do feel a good portion of it is based on politics rather than the film itself.

There were certain aspects of the crazy angry hermit Luke I really liked. So, this will do it for me. The other figure is boring. It just is.

Someone needs to do a Luke head sculpt that we can use for a certain scene in the movie. If you seen it you know which one I’m talking about.

Since the headsculpt/hair would be essentially the same with the one you’re referring to and the other one in the past, I’d love to see that headsculpt with the two different outfits and accessories.
