Spun that pic for you LipSmack - looks great!
Spun that pic for you LipSmack - looks great!
The pics don't capture well the weathering of the clothes, but it has. The backpack, the side bag and the hoddie are weathered. Once you get yours, you will feel it like if it was kind of yellow dusty on it. Not too noticeable, but it is there. Boots has some detailing, but the pants do look clean. In hand you might feel satisfied with the result. Just a matter of taste on the effect you would like to have. The brown-leatherlike jacket (which is made of a fabric which mimics leather) has the feeling of being cracked, and it helps to feel it used and old. The same with the outter cloak.
Looking at mine under a light, the backpack and bag are heavily weathered. The boots are muddy, and the poncho has a fine splattering of mud. There's a very fine dusting on the hoodie, it's subtle but it gives it an aged look. The leathery jacket has a splattering of mud on the lower portions. But, likewise, the trousers don't seem to have any weathering at all, which is inconsistent with the splattering on the jacket.
Welcome JonatanGJ35!
Your photos look great! Your final display option is a good way to showcase everything the figure comes with...very nice. I like you "no flash" pics the best.
The first couple of shots really capture an almost sad look to his expression - well done!
The more I see of this one, the more I can't wait to get it!
Nice pics! And I agree, that force pose is a great one to go with.
Great pics JonatanGJ5! Thanks for sharing!
I want to echo what the others have said; great photos, JonatanGJ5! The one I'm quoting below is probably my favorite of all the ways I've seen this figure displayed. You managed to incorporate all of the accessories, and made it work in a natural-looking way. Wow! And a great pose for Luke. Outstanding job!
Just got mine in today! Doing inspection atm (hopefully photos later). He's awesome!
Quick question - do any of yours have a slit on the left shoulder of the coat? I can't tell if it's a tear or part of the design. It looks super clean, and it's very small just behind the left shoulder. If it's a cut, then bummer I guess lol. Good news is the coats are cheap enough and I don't see it getting any bigger or being noticeable anyway.
The instruction sheet kinda makes it look like it might be intended, so I'm not sure. Either way, can't wait to get this guy posed up.. so many options!!!
Yes, it is intentional to have that tear on the shoulder. Every figure has it as part of the design. It is meant to look aged. So dont worry, it is in perfect condition!!
Awesome, thanks for clarifying! I'm really digging him so far. Every time I buy a new figures, I think about how I should get a camera to do them justice... and then I think about how I could spend that money on more figures instead. lol
