I have a request....does anyone please have a clear / fairly clear shot whether from the movie or behind the scenes of the Police Station flooring used during the shootout scene? I'm amending a spare base I have to match that scene and would like to get it as close as I can.

I actually disassembled the base last night. It's real easy...the top 'road' part, once you take the bottom of the base, is held in place by screws, and one could even easily turn it around if they wanted to and have the pipebomb located in a different place and the road markings pointed in a different direction.
The pipebomb itself is held in place with a couple of small clips, which could be removed and used for something else. Maybe the end scene with the endo grabbing the pipebomb after Reese puts it in the endo's side. It's pretty cool.
Thanks!

So it is removable! Very interesting...

I skipped/cancelled this figure, did it come out good?

I only own two figures, so don't have a big collection to rate against.... but this figure leaves my Sideshow Nathan Drake for dead... The likeness to the character (harder with a real person I guess) is spot on, and the quality of the clothing and weapons is much better... I can't recommend him enough..

yes, and as it is placed in a worst place, forbidding to put feet in a normal pose, i just took them off from all bases and kept for one possible future Kyle Reese figure.

I haven't seen you around for a while, I wasn't sure you even had this figure, I was under the impression you weren't a fan of this one.

P. still got one after all that fuss. :lol

Hell, "bases", he probably got 10.

Couple of photos of the road part taken off the base....it is held on by four screws, so all you have to do if the pipebomb location does get in the way (if you don't want to remove it) is to unscrew the bottom of the base which then gives access to these four screws.
Take them out, pop the road section out, turn it around 90 degrees or whatever, then screw it back in, then put the bottom back on.
On the second pic the shell casings look like they can easily be pried off too looking underneath it. I may do this so I can reuse these on my custom Police Shoot-Out base.
I was looking at the movie last night and parts of the station flooring seem to be a chequered beige / dark brown pattern, so now I can get hold of some vinyl floor squares, cut them to scale, then use them to replace the road part altogether.

i had some... troubles. they are over. or i'm over them.
when the figure was announced, i preordered 6. when the headsculpts were revealed, i cancelled 2 but still left 4 to replace 3 custom versions - eye surgery, PS and truck crash - and have one biker for the Honda.
when a-dev showed that MMS117 torso flesh vastly improved the figure, i understood that i can do the same on 3 of them (using the above 3 customs), but still will need one more MMS136 body.

Work in progress: MMS117 muscle sheath swapped onto the 238 body with the head fitted. The headless body is the 117 body with the 238 muscle sheath. You can see its flatter chested. It's also flatter on the back.

Of minor disappointment is when you bulk up the neck the headsculpt does kind of pinch it at the top so the neck kinda looks like this /\ from the front. But every other angle is excellent.

pity, because i wanted to give those old customs to a young son of my colleague, as i usually do with HT remakes.

perfect idea and useful info about the possibility of floor replacement. thanks.
squares all cut separately will look much better, of course, but i'm lazy and will just take something like this - Rollable Chess Board Size 50 mm Plastic | eBay .

That was my main gripe on this figure, the upper torso being to small to fit well for the T1 movie, its still is an issue along with a couple of minor nit picks with the shirt being to short along with them not including the clean version of the shirt to recreate the "I'll be back scene" Those issues aside the figure is a solid release, I actually really like the head sculpts even if they are on the larger scale of things which wouldn't have been an issue at all if the correct chest and neck would have been used.

aaand i just found a fourth MMS136 body on ebay, didn't see one for a long time. cool-cool-cool.

Speaking of the bike, did you finish it? If so, pictures please.

If someone made a base like the police station for an affordable price I would buy it in a heartbeat

))
nope, i didn't. i was stuck on the task of repainting some yellow tamiya parts into chrome (brush paint doesn't work, and spray paint requires skills and equipment which i don't have yet), and then i moved to another place, leaving everything in my old flat. didn't move anything here yet.
anyway T1 collection will be the first thing i move here and finish, including the bike.
