Not cheap but also not terrible. I may need to consider sending mine in for the upgrade. It goes for around $250 if you send them your jacket (Unweathered). If you aren't able to it will cost you a bit more.
Remember to remind them about replacing the Hot Toys buttons with more movie accurate ones/details though. It will cost a tad bit more but nothing crazy for the adjustments.
Real leather? Here are some pics of mine that they took

Yes. Of courseReal leather?
Hope it works out for ya. Trust me it's 1000% worth every single penny and the turnaround time for them is usually pretty fast tooOkay, thanks anyway. I think I’m going to try UPS. Hopefully it doesn’t cost a fortune.

Ahh ok thanks for the input though! I might ask them when I do reach out in the new year if they have a preference for packages sent by customers in the US. I know it's expensive to do these leather conversions, but seems to be definitely worth it if it's for certain figures you have no plan on ever selling.@snoop101 @Gipetto0812 I used SF Express since most of my collection is in Asia. Which I don't think is a great option if you're shipping from the States (since it's an Asia based carrier company). I know he recommends sending via DHL, Fedex or UPS. Haven't tried straight up local mail/EMS though so hard to say.
That's good to hear. Everytime I've asked them in the past, they've quoted me no less than 6month turn around. Not sure if that's considered fast or not or maybe they're just trying not to underestimate to give them enough wiggle room.Hope it works out for ya. I have done plenty of leather conversion with them, the most I have waited is around a month an a half or 2 months. That 6 month could either be for from scratch tailored pieces or just like a "PayPal safe zone" if that makes senseThat's good to hear. great thank you for the feedback! I bought from them yeeeeears ago when they first started with the Smallville customs (I think those were their first offerings at least ) and then had a few customs after those but nothing in the recent years with their current abilities.I have done plenty of leather conversion with them, the most I have waited is around a month an a half or 2 months. Same me too! I also sent them an email that day about needing a jacket and never heard back. My original jacket just completely fell apartAnybody know how long it normally takes GeeWhizCustoms to respond to an email about ordering a jacket? I emailed them Sunday morning and still have not heard anything.
