Yeah a better or second head with some expression and some hair with some movement not like he just combed it I just dont like that look for Thor

But at least with two heads and three differents hair styles, you would have a much better choice of expression and dynamic !
I would love hot toys to do that !

I have to say I really like the sculpt. Because the moment you pose him in a neutral position, a shouting or very angry sculpt will look silly.

I wouldn't mind if they'd throw in a second HS with angry expression, but my preference goes to the neutral one!

no. no goofy, " i suddenly gotta poo" faces on figures please.. not unless it's an alternate face/headsculpt.
granted, it'd make an amusing display to pose him on a 1/6th toilet, like the medicom goku figure however.

Expressions like that are very scene specific. they work for statues, but don't work so well on action figures.
Stern, but neutral expressions generally work best.

wow. i'm late to this, but that is actually pretty good. still hate the movie design, but as a toy, that looks really cool.

what's nagging at me though, is that i know, i mean everyone in here knows, that in the avengers they're going to re-design all the costumes again. and we'll have a new cap, a new thor, a new mark suit... and then hot toys and sideshow are going to do them over again. and since superhero costumes tend look better the 2nd time they are brought to the movie screen, my question is... get these now or get the later versions? that is the dilemma.

I'd say if you really like this costume to begin with, get it now and possibly get the 2nd version as well if you like that too. If the 2nd version turns out to be crappy, you'll at least have the awesome original one.

I for one am definitely picking up this Thor figure! It looks really amazing IMO!!

this will arrive 8 months or more if you start the countdown today... and the avengers thor will arrive at your doorstep maybe around 2 years so you have at least lots of time to pick up both! IMO that's why i will pick up both... if this will arrive at the same time i have to choose then
