The life size fett? Respect. That’s awesome.
Wanted something that would stand out from the rest of my collection and decided those two pieces together were best for my tastes.

My final payment is the 10th. Still no email, but I'm expecting one.Got notice from SST my final payment goes through this week!! No postponing!!
People get excited because when HT put a figure up for pre-order it's guaranteed to be released. Everyone who buys these knows the waiting game is part of the process. This is why it amuses me to see people so excited when new figures go up for pre-order. They aren't gonna see them before 2024.
I agree wholeheartedly, but to be honest the waiting time getting so extensive is definitely starting to kill some of my enthusiasm for the hobby.
Even before Covid wait times were bad. They put up more pre-orders than products they release. They need to find a way to dramatically cut how long it takes for these figures to get into collector hands after they throw up the images on Facebook. It might be due to the fact that COVID is still raging, especially in Hong Kong. Good gods, people - get some perspective. You'll get your toys eventually. Every manufacturer is dealing with this right now. I used to work for one, and we couldn't even get trucks to bring product to our warehouse once it arrived in the US. And that's after waiting for a container in China and dealing with labor shortages on the factory side.
Things are a mess, and it's going to be that way for a while. Have some patience or collect Funko Pops, I guess.

Good luck with that. If wait times were indeed bad pre-Covid (more than two years ago at this point), they're certainly not getting better any time soon just because you want them to. Make peace with it, or cancel or your pre-orders. But there's nothing Hot Toys can magically do to get them out sooner for you other than cancelling product they've already announced.Even before Covid wait times were bad. You can actually have 2 human children born before we get one of our dolls. It’s officially ridiculous. I want my snowspeeder Luke.Totally agree here.
They've extended too far.
I wish the 6 month turnaround from way back was still in place, but that will never be again.
Funko Pops?
That's not really true. There are ways Hot Toys could get figures done quicker. It just depends on the money they're willing to spend. Yes, COVID is an obvious factor in this, but to say there's no way Hot Toys could produce faster is just wrong. I haven't looked up statistics, but I'd venture a guess that their product selection has gotten increasingly larger over the last few years and with COVID hitting it certainly put a damper on that. Even without COVID you can't expect to expand your annual offering without significant changes to your production plans.Good luck with that.
