HT really screwed up with that Phase 1 helmet. It's huge! And we all know they won't change it now for when they do a Phase 1 shiney for consistency so they've ruined that one before they've even made it.

Im worried HT is just gonna ignore this and pretend nothing is wrong, like with the Life size baby Yoda issue. They have to fix it.

Imagine if they make the Phase 1 Trooper and they just reuse this same mold again (That is something they would do. Look at how many times they reused that sand base) They need to know this is not acceptable I don't give a f%#& about the name plate, thats just the gravy! The helmet is a core part of the product.

Its such a shame because when Justin compared the helmet to Sideshow's, its like standard def and HD. Sideshow's isn't even the proper shape. Why did it have to be out of scale? such a blunder This needs to be fixed by the 2nd batch. This is why you always wait for 2nd batch

Please do yourself a favour and experience the entirety of that show - The last 4 episodes of TCW are better than some of the movies.

This is a bigger issue than a second batch could fix, unfortunately. Paint, weathering, a bit of tailoring on an outfit, sure.

But there’s no way they would rework the helmet for this figure. That would require remodeling the helmet, getting approvals, making new molds, etc.

Best we can hope for is that they’ll correct it for the next Clone that has both phases of helmets. The ship has sailed for the 501st Clone. Makes me glad I still have the Sideshow Deluxe Clones.

Yeah not a chance it gets fixed for the next batch. Even having it fixed for the next figure or two is a stretch.

I agree. I was honestly planning on displaying him with the phase 1 helmet so this is really disappointing. At least it comes with 2 other helmet options.
If they do a phase 1 Clone Trooper they really need to fix this.

Just ordered the standard from HK since I only plan on using the phase 2 helmet anyway. I think it looks great and after handling the HT Cody vs. SS’s it’s a no brained as to which one I want in the collection.

Man the poses are sick on this pic, captured from Jedha Patrol video. I think throw in hooded Sith Anakin would be be adding more dramatic effect, and that's how I've been envisioned to display with mine set up.

Man my original plan was just for two but after seeing some of the photos online of 4+ together - I think I'm going to have to pick up another two and suffer with low funds for a month lol..

Yeah, this overscaling issue is a big thing. How come they didn't check the proper look before going into production?
Another nitpicking is the orange markings. In the show, clones repainted their helmets in respect to Ahsoka. The paint is new, but the pattern is sloppy since clones painted them themselves. In HT figure, pattern is crisp, but there is much wear as they were used for decades. But, that's a minor issue compared to scale of Phase I helmet.
