What Celebration ? Im so ignorant when it comes to these events.

Star Wars Celebration would of been this upcoming Thursday-Sunday this year, the event that occurs every other year or few years, the big Star Wars event. It was cancelled because of COVID.

Usually movies, tv shows, collectibles etc are announced during Celebration, along with exclusive products, etc etc.

Wow. This look like Hot Toys doing a straight up re-release of the SS Deluxe 501st Clone set. Even the body suit looks the same. Only dif is that 332 bucket and jetpack. Oh and SS has a Gatling gun instead of the rocket launcher.

Just as I am outbid on the sideshow deluxe on ebay this news drops ... awesome haha. The sideshow figure definitely still holds up but this is going to have a better underlying body so I'm in for two.

It's always a good feeling when i've sold off all my SSC Clone collection only for HT to release them several years later after I sold the SSC off.

PO'd deluxe along with Ahsoka. This will go nicely with her and Rex, and maybe that CW Maul they teased.

But are people going to expect unique weathering on each figure as they did with the Remnant Stormtrooper?

I?ve never army built any Hot Toys release. But this has me tempted, and in all likelihood, I need at least two. At least a deluxe and then just a regular release.

The markup for a HKD1530 Hot Toy 95% of the time has been $251 USD. Not sure what the price for the standard is, though.

The Clone Wars hype has kind of died down in me so I'm still on the fence about Rex and Ahsoka but definitely interested in this. The scene with the 501st warning Jimmy Smits has always stuck out to me for some reason.

Two of these is a no-brainer. A Phase 1 and Phase 2 to display either side of Rex. This Clone Wars line is coming together nicely. This gives me hope for the 212th grunt and Airborne troopers.

Appears to be a fabric under suit, which is great! Was worried it would be rubber like the Death Trooper or First Order Troopers. I am sold!

I'm actually glad I held on to my 501st veteran from SSC. Now I only need to get one of this instead of 2.
