I hate that sand base. And you know it's only there again because Hot Toys decided to remove Grogu and the hoverpram from the first release.

I picked up a "flight stand" - or dynamic action stand 'coz can't remember seeing a pic of this fig *in flight*.

Dunno if the sand base stand has the flexible rod and clip to do a flight pose, but 1) I didn't check and 2) was buying some spare parts and added a "flight stand" 'coz I knew I was getting this fig.

If the sand base stand lets u do a flight pose, great. If not, I'm covered. Plus I own 3-4 Scarlet Witch and she can use a flight stand if I have an extra.

I like the sand base but also like the idea of flying jetpack Mando. Maybe I'll switch the bases around with Qui-Gon or something.

Meanwhile hope the current messy U.S. weather doesn't mess shipping up too much

I don't know if you're serious, but the first figure went up for preorder a month before the show even aired. Absolutely nobody knew about the Child then.

Whoops! I forgot about that. I thought that because the pram stand fits the original stand that it was designed for the first one, removed and then packed in with this Mando.

[In used car salesman voice]: Hot Toys really didn't have to design the pram base to be compatible with the original display stand, but it's great that they did.

I don't think even Hot Toys knew about The Child or Luke after the show premiers.

If they knew about Luke, I'm pretty sure we'll see him a few days after he appears in the show.

Well yeah that's what I meant. Even Hasbro is being left out of the loop still for Season 2. The only S2 figure they've shown that I can remember is Bo Katan. Hot Toys got some episode 1 knowledge since they had the Tuskens ready to go and the 1/4 scale has the bomb box, but that's it.

I have the OG and I'd really like to get this version, but I keep believing HT will reveal Mando from the finale of S2 with a Pedro sculpt,Beskar Spear etc

If they reveal one with a sculpt I will probably get that too then I can have OG, Shiny and Shiny with no helmet.
