I wanted to see how the post Sarlacc armor would look with traditional Fett gear. Faded and dirtied to match.

VERY nice. Only need weathering on the rocket. Even on the original figure some weathering would be nice (even tho the rocket was restock ammunition)

You guys do this to yourselfs when you order from ****-show. Order from hong kong and save yourself the ********. Better and quicker service if you buy from the right people. Maybe only a few bucks extra but its worth it

The Boba Fett Deluxe is over $200 more than the list price when ordering direct from HK. That's not just a few bucks.

It is weird Sideshow made me pay up on March 10th and yet no movement since. You mean the stock has been stuck at Long Beach port for 15 days...?

I used to think that and even wrote up an entire dissertation on why if I were Sideshow I'd use logic just like that (People who only paid NRD first, Flexpays second and those who for whatever reason decided to pay in full up front last). Well, I'm now convinced they have a chicken that pecks at random orders on a big board as that's the closest I can come to rationalizing how Sideshow ships, based on experiences across these boards and many, many figures. So, what I'm saying to you is "there's a chance..."

Beautiful set, finally got mine. I would recommend water soaking the Black cloak/robe on Boba. When you get it it's got foam separators all over, never a reassuring sign for dye contact issues. I soaked mine and a LOT of black/brown dye came out of it. Stretches more when damp as well, as it's too short out of box IMO.

I paid up on Feb 28th. So it's basically been a month.

The weird thing is, I've been reading that the port logjam has largely been cleared and things are moving again. So what's up with this set, then? It would be nice if SS would proactively communicate, but they're not about to do that. For reasons.

My guess is they got less than they initially thought and they don't have any available to ship the remaining orders. I went ahead and ordered a second batch Ashoka from an HK seller because I know it's going to be a long wait and even with shipping I got it the same price as SS after taxes and shipping.

Okay, the figure looks great but do tell all about that base. If you made it, why are you not selling copies to the rest of us poor simps? Not to do this is throwing away [almost] free money, right? Ha.

Ordered mine from a UK retailer so I know I've got a long wait. Thanks to BoBF though, I've lost my enthusiasm for Boba as a character so I don't mind waiting for this figure. Kept my order because they did such a good with it.

It’s the base from Haoyu Toys bloody Roman captain figure. I picked it up from one of the regular part-out stores.
Boba’s shorter shins have been replaced with standard length ones, fat suit removed and replaced with the padded suit from the Tusken Raider (I believe).
