The standard release comes with the dark saber. The difference in the deluxe is only the boba armor, swoop bike handle and the wrapped up pieces (dragon meat)

Search me! I sure don't. But there are people out there who are berserk for Shazaam especially, it is amazing to me.

Then someone will go on about WHERE IS PADME, this s*** goes on in every single new HT post. Every now and then a wail goes up over some Professor X prototype from an X-Men movie released 15 years ago. Very predictable.

Just woke up to the news, and yeah think I'm happy enough with the previous version I have. The Pedro sculpt isn't bad but has such an overly sad expression that I probably wouldn't want to display it much. And the chrome armor with a thick layer of gloss over top just doesn't look nearly as nice or realistic as what Guillaume came up with for his custom.

Plus I already have some Boomix S2 parts ordered so I don't need those.

Well, looked what happened to my old chrome plated hot toys.....not sure if it's a good move.

it gets worse if u try to clean it. the friction removes the chrome particles. Its probably why I won't order this, if i do, i'll just be realistic about it. nothing lasts forever

True but it seems to stand out a lot more in 1/6 form and would severely limit the kinds of poses you could do (other than just holding Grogu).

Dolls do not survive high humidity areas. My guess is Chia Tai Yu lives in one. You can see him with his shirt off reflected in his once-chromed T-1000.

But he IS sad. Mando is a very lonely and conflicted guy. He's just like..... alone in the universe.

Hopefully season 3 will reunite him with his people and we'll see him struggle with some social realities, such as the fact that as much as he wants to belong, a lot of humans are *not very nice* THANK YOU BO-KATAN GO SIT DOWN SOMEWHERE. On top of that, he is Mand'alor now. He has some real struggle ahead of him. He's got plenty to feel conflicted about; this sculpt is appropriate.

I'm going to stick with my season 1 deluxe Mando. He'll go nicely with my V1 Mando. If I get a 3rd it'll have to be a (hypothetically) season 3 painted armour version.
I've got the season 2 armour pieces from a customiser. I could always buy the parted out spear and Darksaber from the HT season 2 version.
I can't decide whether I like the chrome paint more or not so I might as well at least wait to finally have season 1 version in hand. If I decide I need chrome paint, I could paint the season 1 pieces myself.
Nice to have a headsculpt but I know I'd never display it.
Tempted to get the swoop bike though. Pleased thats getting an individual release too.

Q4 2022. More likely Q2 2023.

So two years from now. There will be another season in that time at least with a new look.

I think I will wait the two years and try my luck at ebay. HT will make a ton of these. Already a reg and deluxe.
