[ ] If you look at the right shin pad compared to this specific screenshot from episode 7 season 2, you'll notice that if you use Pythagorean theorem while eating a bowl of spaghetti under the sign Capricorn during the winter solstice, the pad is off by 0.000178 degrees to the left. I would never buy a figure with such blatant costume inaccuracies. HT is overrated. I'll just repaint my custom Han Solo head sculpt instead of getting this.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is fast-tracked like the first version of the Beskar armor was. It's basically the exact same figure.

You know it will be after V2 released way early. Might release when S3 rolls around.

I just can’t comfortably buy from Sideshow these days after the more frequent reports and my own experience of receiving what felt like an opened figure in the non shipper box. That’s a policy they need to bin ASAP.

For this hobby especially, that is the most insidious of policies.

The only part that really burns after buying the V1 is the chrome armor. If this release was the same with just all the extra accessories, it'd be easier to just pick up a HS or something but.... guess that's how they get ya. Damn the chrome looks cool. :|

Yup. Expected the spear, saber and headsculpt, but wasn’t expecting them to dramatically improve the look of the beskar (at a cost).

Yep, absolutely. Especially for what these cost, no one should receive a figure that might’ve been some kind of damaged out item, a return, etc.

None of their retail partners that we trust here on the forum would ever do that. And most double box at no additional charge.

Really a shame.

Are these on brand new released figures, or ones that shipped months after SS first shipped them? I've seen the same reports on FB groups and on here.

Both. Mine was from an item shipped a while after release, but I’ve seen some people get new releases this way as well.

I want to say it happens more with in-stock and FlexPay orders, but can’t say definitively without more data.

Might have to get him at BBTS though he is higher in price then Sideshow he will probably be around $350 at SS then BBTS as they have $4 shipping.

..... So, if its cheaper one place but the shipping there is higher, and the other place is more expensive but the shipping is cheaper..... Are y'really any better off? Just buy from whichever you prefer.

I do still occasionally buy from BBTS, but their cheaper shipping is offset by the fact that you wait literally 99 forevers to get your stuff. I still have not forgotten how i had to wait an extra month for Mythos Fett because of their hijinks. SSC will make you wait a bit too with their "payment is clearing" silliness but once they do ship, you get your stuff in a reasonable amount of time.

I see no particular advantage to ordering thru BBTS. They hike their price to compensate for shipping, you pay tax, and they are slow as molasses. But you get a nice box. Meh. Between SS and BBTS, I'd go SS -- get it fast and no trouble returns/exchanges.

AlterEgo and Timewalker are the best in my book. The only time I order direct from SS is when I have to burn points.

I buy just a few at most every year. When BBTS didn't have an NRD and the shipping was $4, it was a no-brainer. I never do NRD and will only preorder when I see production photos. With BBTS having an NRD and higher prices, it tips back to SS with reward points and faster shipping for me.
