Ok, in that old school pic one guy is wearing a laser gun and another guy is on a laser canon. The hot redhead is wearing what type of military gear? And she goes into combat with a laser crossbow. And then there is the mysterious man in black who is a ninja and uses a samurai sword and a wolf to go into to action with. And what kind of mask is that? And that was as close to "real" as it ever was in that pic. Do not equate this fantasy show with real life soldiers. I also don't know any terrorists that dress like that cool looking cobra soldier.

bah...that version of snake eyes is a commando and doesn't have a wolf or sword. that pic is all kinds of awesome especially with short-fuze bringing the pain! serious flashbacks of lionel playworld.

don't say that in a hardcore joe thread tho, they like to think their toys are like real soldiers but seriously I loved gi joe as a kid and still do, but it is rediculous to compare it to real military.
