It was confirmed in Chat that the Tron stuff wasn't at the Con because it's still being worked on.

In one of the videos in the Con thread, the Tron Light Cycle was there :dunno

You're right, I saw the rear wheel of a Tron cycle in a picture of the Iron Monger on the Marvel thread. I was actually referring to something new in the tron line having seen some sketches posted earlier. Hope they didn't give up on these.

Of course you did, you saw the 1:6 scale HOT TOYS Lightcycle, what we are referring to is the 1:4 scale SIDESHOW pieces. Sideshow has confirmed that a 1:4 scale Sam Flynn, Rinzler and Quorra were on tap for them to do in support of the film but that the composition of the pieces were still giving them trouble.

This gives me more hope we will get a few more figures.

Is it just me or did he sound kind of pissed off? Didn't look like he really wanted to speak to that guy.

I went to Star Wars Celebration II and when I went to get Billy Dee Williams autograph I noticed he kept his head down and didn't look up the whole time. It was very odd. We were also told that people had already tried to get him to sign bottles of Colt 45 and they were escorted out of the autograph hall.

Bruce did seem kind of short with the guy but he has probably been signing autographs all summer and had probably been asked that question about how he felt about doing Tron: Legacy about a million times. The guy talking to him sounded a little like this:

I am surprised that we are hearing that Tron 3 is a surety in this manner rather than some official announcement. I can't imagine he would make that up or that there is any other way to interpret it.

Haha yah he was kind of a d!ck there wasn't he? I didn't get a chance to talk to him but I don't think his autograph booth was as popular as they had hoped. It was mostly folks from TRON 1 and a lot of people were all "who are these people, I don't remember them in Tron Legacy"

Plus $25 to sign is a bit steep. Come to a Disney expo and sign for free, man. Charge for everyone else.

At Comic Con I went to a stall where they were selling those batman usb drives and Billy was there doing signings for something but he was the same there with his head down signing. Funny thing is no one was in line for a autograph and I can't say I cared LOL.

Man so no making any more Tron figures? I don't know if anyone else wanted this but I wanted a 1/6 scale Quorra with the likeness of Olivia Wilde. Sigh.

I think we all wanted Quorra. I know guys who don't collect Hot Toys OR Tron Legacy who wanted a Hot Toys Quorra.

Bare Minimum, I wanted this line up (in no real order)

-Kevin Flynn (old)
-Sam Flynn
-Clu
-Quorra
-Rinzler
-Gem

THAT'S ALL I NEED. Gem, I don't really need... I just WANT. haha

I don't know if we will see anymore figures but there are some theories that suggest it might still happen.
1. The figures are held up in R and D hell because they are trying to do light up articulated figures.
2. Sideshow is still planning to release product which has been held up by R and D and Hot Toys doesn't want to release anything at the same time.
3. They might be waiting to see if Tron: Uprising is successful or their holding on until Tron 3 comes out.

I think if we do get more figures it isn't happening for a while. Hot Toys did say the line was on hold for scheduling issues and not poor sales. Although we don't really know if what has been released has sold to their expectations.

Hopefully Quorra doesn't suffer the same fate as Rorschach. I think if they could pull it off it would be something for them to be proud of.

I'm not holding out much hope for the future of the line...although I wouldn't mind being wrong.

I rewatched the movie last night and forgot how much I liked it. I already got my Kevin Flynn figure and have sam on pre-order.

Would really like a Rinzler and Quorra figure.

We need a Quorra 1/6 first before anything else.

I totally agree.

In some strange way the light cycle being delayed until March gives me some hope that the line will continue in some form eventually. The delay tells me it takes a long time for them to develop things from Tron:Legacy. We still haven't seen Sideshow's stuff and as of recently they still sounded pretty committed to release it when they are ready. I think we saw Kevin Flynn because they knew they could get it out relatively quickly in comparison to other characters. If they have sunk some R and D money into the light cycle I wonder if a couple of figures would give them more of a return on their investment.
