The part 1 interview was great. But after that it gets frustrating because additional interviews only run a little over a minute and you're cut off right in the middle of saying something interesting and it's not picked up on the next part! I would like to ask you a few questions, since your devotion for the craft closely follows mine. I too fell out of the toy collecting gig around the late 70's when girls became the only "figure" worth investing in. I wasn't really reconnected with the hobby until the early 90's after I met my wife to be. At that point I was...how do I say it... allowed to show that side of myself? And it was quite liberating. I'm sure you and I could talk about that feeling extensively. But I digress.
With the creation of the retro figures, (that essentially started with Hasbro's GI Joes) which lines have been the most faithful in your opinion and which ones are still waiting to see their best days? And what is your feeling about some Mego-sized figures now costing as much as $25.00 to $30.00 a pop while others are only $18.00 to $20.00? With that kind of distinction, don't you feel there is some unnecessary gouging going on here to the collector? Shouldn't all these figures run more like $15.00? Thanks in advance for answering my questions.
