Is there any difference at all with the TT 21 over the True Type Advanced (eg Obama/Prison Break guy)?

Just the body.... no...

but TTM21 lacks a head, has another neck adapter and differs in packaging.... & some different variant hands as well..

Deculture-Junkie, I tried my Redfield head on the TTM-20 bod for you. It is a close thing. That is one big old neck. The head fits (just) and there is some range of movement, but the socket is tight on the neck and you will have to be careful with repeated turning as it might eventually wear at the rubber. He also looks bull-necked, but that is a matter of taste, I guess.

What neck adapter does the 21 have that the previous releases don't? Seems like all come with the "neckless" head adapter as well as the "with neck" adapter. Is that a fist or a gripping left hand there?

Incremental improvements from HT. The ridiculously oversized necks for the Arnie bodies should be the next thing to go, please god in heaven.

I am with you on that. The size of the neck means that this is not a versatile body. Fine if you have a larger head and want a pretty beefy looking chap, but otherwise it looks disproportionate.

Luckily, if fits what I wanted exactly; a version of Marv, who needs to have almost cartoonish bulk. The Crimson Guard head is also slightly larger than the Redfield one, which I tried above.

Just because I already had the camera out.

Has anyone used either of the 2 smaller bodies for a T-1000 figure? I thought I remember someone saying the neck ends up being too long somehow....

I really wish all TrueTypes from now on had sculpted forearms like the Luke DX body. But my biggest wish would be for the new Slim and Regular to have the neck/chest piece that the Muscular has. It's not needed for all figures, of course, but it would be fantastic to have the option.

Those bodies are cool looking, the only disappointment is that it has the exposed joints on the arms, I like the old Arnold body better.

I do too, and not just because of the smoother-looking arms. The whole feel and finish of the old T-800 bodies is just overall better than these. I don't think it is because HT are on a downwards spiral, quality-wise, as the TTM-19 is one of the best bodies so far made. It just didn't carry across to this one. The seams are more obvious, the parts don't seem to fit together so well. Even the plastic feels lighter. The only improvement (if you can call it that) is the ankle-stabilisers, and those look like and afterthought.

Those ankles beat the MMS117 body. Without his rigid boots on, he can barely stand. The ankles are way too weak. This one is not substantially better, but at least it can be carefully balanced and stood without a stand. But, yes, the nasty black "cuffs" aren't the best solution to the problem of stability and look like an afterthought. I imagine the DX10 Ahnuld also had help from his boots for stability.

Very nice. I love the paintjob you did on the Crimson Guard head.
Very well done.

Thanks. My first attempt at painting a figure head. Not something I am going try again any time soon. Even with jam jar reading glasses on, my eyes were rattling around in my head after working on this. But it needed paint. I have never seen anyone with flesh-coloured hair before. :lol

I know.
That hair colour confused me when i received it in the mail...
Still, it looks a lot better now. And the cross is good. Still looking for the long coat or do you have one of those?

LOL. You are following my Marv progress, I see. Yes, got a Becker coat and painted it black, thanks to the very helpful advice on here. Looks just fine. I need another chain for the cross. That one is a bit clunky, but all I had kicking around the house (the original was too short for his mahoosive neck). And, apart from sticking some masking tape plasters all over his face, painting the gun (more reading glasses use) and perhaps getting him a hacksaw, he is all done. I will do a proper shoot when I have him all together.

If you only recently got the head on Ebay, you bought it from me. If not, i am thinking of someone else...

I keep seeing pics and talk of the Arnie body but how about the Advanced body? Does anyone have any pic of one ion clothes? I'm thinking about picking one up for a Jason custom.

Off the top of my head, figures that use Adv. TT. Red/Blue and Black spidey.... MGS's Naked Snake.... Many other figures uses Adv. TT's arms.

there's also this:

and Obama's AA TTM... which many use to bashed the president.
