I think the only HT RE figure to have any emotion is the Chris head sculpt. And even then, its only a slight brooding expression due to the direction the eyes are looking. But most head sculpts these days only seem to make the character look like they are casually looking off into the distance

They make the head sculpts way too neutral, I won't say something like.. " she looks speely or lifeless" because she is figure she has to be well done if you like the sculpt or not is pure opinion... I just don't care, I got enough HT figures to realise complaining about it is a waste of time...
The only perfect head sculpt for me was Jack Sparrow DX, and the extra smiley face made it perfect, after that.. I realised the head might be perfect but the cheap mass production painting ruins it.
I know I'll forget about all the little flaws she has once I have her in my hands

Remember Hot Toys Chris Redfield? The prototype wasn't the best either, and the final head sculpt was greatly improved imo. Though I prefer pre-RE5 Chris, there's no denying he's the single best RE figure to date. So I have faith that HT will put a bit more work in Ada. Although.. it does seem that lately that are changing sculpts a lot less than they used to.

It's not free. I don't know if you're using the word "toy" to try to lessen your statements, but did you forget this was two hundred dollars?

Oh man, when did they change her? That's a bummer. She had attitude before. Wesker is pretty good, but he's got a certain gauntness to the face that isn't accurate. I'd rank him as second best still, followed by Krauser. Leon, Sheva, and Jill are all pretty bad, Leon being the worst. Sheva had a great prototype, but came out bad. Not to mention the weird, and ugly, neck joint they gave her on her headsculpt. Jill is just way too soft and neutral, more "classic" doll like than a Hot Toys figure should be. The Chris head sculpt has a power in his eyes, and is the most accurate of all the sculpts, with the face shape just being a bit thin. Which I think is better, makes him more attractive and matches his previous looks better. You could probably change his hair and it would be a decent classic Chris head. I think the face matches up really well with how he looks in Chronicles Code Veronica.

Agreed, I still think the RE4 figures are somewhat superior.. the weapons seem to have more detail, maybe I just have to check that again.. I don't have any RE4 figure, and I only have Battlesuit Jill, I dislike that neutral face so much she looks stupid
HT should take the risk and make badass faces, it seems they leave that for DX only, I love the smiley faces I dunno why people don't like that

The new pics look awesome. Ada is done fantastically well, I think HT have upped their game with the Videogame figs. Mostly by mixing a realism with game accuracy very well.
I don't think she looks lifeless, its just a neutral expression. I suppose you could argue Ada had some swag in Resi4, i just think HT are afraid that people would freak(which they would) with any expression so they play it safe

Yea its two hundred dollars.
But every figure hot toys has put out is not perfect, i learned it to deal with it in the end we are all complaining about an expensive toy .
Assassins creed 3. Im near the end of sequence 5 and ive did literally nothing but run from point A to B then as soon as i get to point B back to A. For the last 90 minutes ive been "restoring" a house and a boat while constantly running through thick snow 5-10 minutes at a time with NOTHING happening. Its so mind numbingly dull. If my friend hadnt borrowed me the game out of the kindness of his heart because i couldnt afford to buy it then i wouldnt of even got this far. i rage quit at sequence 2. The last game session i ended 10 minutes ago i didnt even care if i saved i just leant over and knocked the console off.
Ive never wanted to continue to play a game less.
Im at the end of sequence 6 im losing interest in this game very quickly feels like a chore playing this game.

Since that post i literally knocked my ps3 back on, to get the disc out and put it in the case. Im not playing it again. I watched the ending on youtube and thats it for me.
