At the same time, they will look great in static poses but i doubt they will have double jointed arms still. So articulation would still hold them back. They need to re-release Sheva on a body that doesnt look like she has been sprayed by a Xenomorph after displaying her for a few months

My Sheva is still in perfect condition, oddly enough. No deterioration on the rubber at all. I've had her for 3 years now....(wow 3 years already...)

Thats good to know for in case i ever get her. Ive had a bunch of Aliens, and 4 Chris redfields, 2 dutches & Abigale whistler and ive had no damage. But pretty much all Sheva except unopened have the bad elbows :-/

I just wish HT would stay away from rubber altogether, it does not have a long shelf life.

Even if I don't even touch her it will start rotting or something? how much does it last??

I've had my Dragon Models Chris and Claire Redfield for around a decade and last I looked a couple of weeks ago they were OK. I've never displayed them and only had them out of the box once, but I wonder why HT didn't or doesn't use the same rubber.

It does seem that over the years (and I'm not talking a lot) all their rubber figures start to break down a little. I worry about my Batman’s and a few other HT I have, thank goodness I haven’t had anything start yet.

I meant the hips, which are hidden by the dress, hence need no rubber to conceal them.

My Sheva is still perfect its been 2 years no issues.

maybe its effected by different climates. Assuming those with degradation live in Arizona

itd deteriorate because of high humidity then getting real dry after that. same as a tire on a car. its called dry rot. anything that doesnt get regularly stretched will harden and rip apart with rubber stuff. at night its cooler and the humidity seeps in, during the day the hot sun dries it out. then the molecules tighten in the rubber and it pulls in all directions thats where the "splits" happen. if you have the joints bent the rubber's already at its thinnest. it makes it that much easier for dry rot to happen. use a dehumidifier in the room. youll be all set.

Dude wanted to put Sheva on a plastic body to avoid rubber issues, as a result he bought a 2nd Sheva head and kidbashed a 2nd (none sheva) out fit for her. But not only that, theres an Extra sniper rifle and Midnight Weskers Hydra included.
