I wonder how they would handle a stealth Predator.

i'm not sure how well that would translate with all the separate pieces to connect. but we ARE talking about Hot Toys... and they always deliver.

i guess this question kind of got answered with today's newsletter. at least the predator 1 stuff is now in motion and we have SOMETHING from the original movie. the figures are only a matter of time. i'm kinda glad it'll be a while yet - REALLY need to save the money.

It's no big deal really. Usually only around four articles. Two announcements and two promotional articles, this month. The 1/4 scale Predator bust. The two tru-type bodies. Cannibal Jack getting low on stock, and arriving soon along with Will, which we already knew, and their Mountain Sniper being their fastest selling out item.

i would love pred 1 news. but i would also like a brand new way-out-there 80s flavour new license announcement. something like escape from new york or die hard.

Never understood why a company hasn't jumped on Die Hard 1. I've yet to see a bootleg or custom that could compete with a HT McClaine.

exactly - you know it would sell. i guess neca had there 1/12 and 18" version. but i would love a decent manufactured 1/6. i would buy one from every film.

Actually I stand somewhat corrected. After posting I ran across Dark Artist's and Feng's McClanes...



Regardless, it would be great to see what HT could come up with.

BTW I wasn't aware that NECA made an 18" McClane. Was it as crappy as the 6"?

not sure about the neca 18" actually, i haven't seen it in person. i have the 6" and you're right, that is horrible. the neca version does come with an R-rated sound chip though, so that might be some fun.
