The GG portrait on this fig is perfect. Amazing in person!Looking at pics of GG I think you're right about the head size as her neck does look rather long in this outfit. No doubt the strapless bustier/bare shoulders contributes to that but still HT's head positioning isn't overly high as I first thought.
Yes, and like Endgame Stealth Suit Cap they'll probably ban the use of rewards and make customers pay full price. Because Sideshow is a "community" lol...
You're gonna be waiting for years for inart because they didn't even announce Wonder Woman and they might not even make her. Its hilarious you're waiting for figure that might not even be made and the hot toys one will blow the inart one way out of water!Am I the only one who thinks the hair looks exactly the same as the old ones just different in texture? Still looks very bland and lifeless. Its an improvement for sure but I will still wait for InArts release.

Woah that's a good spot that it doesn't mention Gal Gadot in the specs anymore, so they're no longer obliged to make this look any more like her than others from the past. Oh balls! there goes any chance of the perfect release then.
It was a perfect release and the figure is amazing!
This release is out and guess what the rooted hair looks amazing!Call me crazy but I love the WW84 sculpted hair version best. I got her last week and still blown away. This version looks extremely good, but portrait looks still off and that rooted hair won't look as good on a released one.
Are there chances for Henry Superman? but maybe they'll do Reeve instead
Gal is from Snyder Era
Batman from Nolan Era
Superman???
I still think the WW84 is a better likeness, the nose on this is wrong.
The nose is right and you're wrong
I got that email as wellWhoa look who gets the VIP treatment No email for me yet.
Ok Sure thing hater. This Hot Toys fig is perfect. Inart One don't hold your breath because they won't be making that one and if they did it won't be in three years. LmaoThis is what my ideal
WW would look like, just with rooted hair and a better likeness.
I don’t understand the complexities of actor likeness licensing so who knows what’s actually going on with Ben and Gal getting let out of the specs.
Maybe because this isn’t tied to any movie in particular, HT don’t need to go through the usual channels or credit Gal…
Afleck may have simply told them to get stuffed coz he’s so done with WB and DC.
Really I’m just grasping at straws and hoping InArt can still produce the BVS trinity. If WB don’t have the actors licenses anymore then InArt can still acquire permission from the actors themselves, right? One would assume at least Caville would be onboard without much pushback seeing as he’s an actual geek like the rest of us.
Anyways-
This figure looks good upon first glimpse- mainly because of the hair (thanks again, InArt)- but it still has a funky colour scheme, thick bracers, giraffe neck, pointless side-glance, countless reuse items and a cheap Pepsi bottle plastic background thing to create the illusion that we’re looking at something special.
HT really don’t deserve the huge price they’re gonna slap on this so, if there is any possibility for an InArt version- even if that is a minimum of 3 years away- I’m holding out for that.
I find it funny waiting for something that hasn't even been announced and probably won't even be made for many years. The wb100 WW will be better then any Inart version
I can confirm the production is as good as the Proto and hopefully you're able to get one because this figure is truly amazing; the best wonder woman figure so far! Definitely a grail! Its a new rooted GA sculpt on the 84 body/costume painted in a different color with the sword and shield coming from the TA version and strap from the JL version. So the only thing completely new is the hair and the cheap plastic backdrop oh and the box. Does this sound about right? They could have at least changed the eye position or given her rolling eyes but HT are lazy and this is just a very nice looking kit bash in the end (perhaps the best WW ever even) - that kind of rubs me the wrong way honestly considering what it is going to cost to attain if you can even get one.
And then the issue of not knowing if the production copies will hold up to the proto specifically in the most important hair department. I dunno man, I think I am beyond sick of this company.
The comic book version is amazing also and you don't know what you're talking aboutIt only took them, what, six tries to finally give us a good Gadot WW in her classic armor? Lol
It actually is a Gal Gadot wonder woman they even say her name on sideshows unboxing video! The other hilarious thing is this technically isn't a Gal Gadot WW yet it may be - considering who you ask - the best Gal Gadot WW they have ever released
It does not make it look better with that expression and the hot toys expression is betterNice edit! Yeah I agree I find the heads themselves a bit smaller in proportion to the body, I think I had the same nit with the JL version too.
Looks better! The more determined expression makes it look so much more!
When I saw the promo pics I thought of your modified WW. Your styling of the hair looks great!
It looks like they were going for something similar, given how they just recycled existing parts, with new hair.
Ideally, this would be the WW HT puts out for regular release.
It does not matter that it's not in description and how about on that same listing on Sideshows website watch the unboxing video on her listing and how they clearly say her name and it is Gal Gadot likeness used.Because as mentioned in the thread it doesn't mention her name anywhere in the description. It's the same exact situation as the Comic Concept version which was also just a generic WW that ripped Gadot's likeness. In every other case they put her name in the description. In the case of Batman that isn't Bale either but they used Bale's likeness. Remember when they use to sell truetype's that looked like certain actors and even a POTUS? Same thing.
They even confirm on video and clearly you didnt watch that video from Sideshow.
You have no clue what you are talking about and it's already confirmed even with Sideshow that this is Gal Gadots likeness used for this figure.Because as mentioned in the thread it doesn't mention her name anywhere in the description. Same thing.
So you know Sideshow has confirmed it is Gal Gadots likenessRight it's a total "Prank Villain" situation, you know who it is and you know what movie it is suppose to be from but technically it is none of those things due to speculative reasons like not having Gadot's naming rights anymore hence making it a very nice but a generic WB WW anniversary figure in the end. Honestly if they don't have her naming rights anymore I don't know how they are even getting away with these things.
And again I find it funny that out of all of the WW's they have released the one that is arguably the best doesn't even have her name or a movie attached to it.
Sideshow confirmed its Gal GadotI’m curious how WB’s licensing works then. How can a likeness be used by an officially licensed manufacturer but not credited? Very odd. There has to be some weird loophole in the talent contracts or something.
I could more see with a character like Batman because in that case the cowl covers most of the face and it’s easier to get away with claiming it’s someone else.
Wonder Woman though you see the full face and likeness. Same if Superman was made.
You're just mad because you know you really want this figureNot surprising seeing as Sideshow will also probably charge $400-$450 and then add their tax + shipping.
Hot Toys charging INART prices when they slap the word WOOL on their figure that has reused sculpts and parts.
You don't have to buy every single one and this figure is totally worth it. It's amazingYikes and thought Toys Wonderland was steep at $381 u.s. dollars…it really hits hard that we have to pay so much for a repainted figure with a customized head sculpt at a price we can get a all new HT deluxe figure
I don't need real human indian hair on my figures. NO THANKS. Im good with WOOL! These are NOT WIGS!Should have PERS and real human hair for that price
