PFs are mixed media so that route isn't happening but a 1/4 Comiquette in classic Silver Age styling is long overdue.

However, you'll get no argument from me that a Silver age 1/4 comiquette would just fly off the shelves. I don't really care what form the piece takes. I want a SS Iron Man and being a new collector I missed out on the last IM and SIM comiquettes. Maybe SS are going to hold back until the next Iron Man Movie?

Then they'll just end up doing another version of the movie armor which like all the movie Batman suits, end up being tweaked. I'm sure the new Iron Man movie armor will have a few changes.

Yes, this is the classic Golden Avenger armor. This is my favorite as well. I think it is the quintessential Iron Man armor. The new Iron Man armor looks like Iron Man meets ROBOTECH. I like Iron man a 10, and I like Robotech an 8, so I like the new Iron Man armor a 9. I find the new armor a little irritating. The Golden Avenger Armor WOULD represent more advanced technology than the new armor. If you could have a suit of armor that looked like this and folded up into a suitcase when it wasn't charged up, and when it was, was more powerful than the new armor( which it COULD be, since this is a comic book), this would be a FAR more advanced technology armor. It conforms better to the natural shape of the human body, meaning it can squeeze into tighter spaces, and it looks sleeker, not to mention lighter, and more portable. To me, the new armor is just different for the sake of being different. The golden avenger armor is made with nanotechnology, basically, and so it has extremely small circuitry, and if it was enhanced with nanotechnology inside of the armor to maintain it in use, it could be self repairing, as well as offering Iron Man a built in medical facility.

I also like the Silver Centurion armor a lot, from the West Coast Avengers, as well as the Space Armor, the original Stealth armor, and the Hydro Armor.

Eh..... Not a big fan of the classic look. If you want it, buy a Bowen piece no need for SS to have to do this. Plus SS even sells the classic look made by Bowen on their own website!

I have Bowen's statues. I want a classic armor PF Iron Man to go with my classic Hulk, classic Cap, classic Thing, classic Doom and classic Thor PF's.
