I asked this very question a year or so ago.... Let's just say it is hard.

Gotta know someone and have a good portfolio to get you in. I still hope against hope that one day SSC just gets wise and hires me.

Well you could go the P!tu route....make insane YouTube videos and Photoshop pieces and then go nuts for Sideshow publically. He's about a step away from a secured job there....

I've done webcopy before for a collectibles company for a couple of their pieces and found it really fun and interesting part of the process. The only reason I was given an opportunity was because I had an "in" there who allowed me to submit some work. Find an "in" and then impress.
