I still can't believe that not only people make them, but people watch them. Why would I care what some random schmo thinks about a statue or figure? I can make my own decisions.

I don't mind them i usually watch the ones of statues that i really like but don't plan to buy due to space and money. It's nice to see 360 degree views and close ups.

I try to make unboxing vids. I love watching people vids and doing my own. I consider it a way to conversations and share its other collectors. It's a cool way to interact with others that love this hobby too.

That is the point, it can help you make "your own" decision. You can think of them as tools, not entertainment.

I don't like it when people take too long describing each side of the box.

I like the option of being able to see the unboxing and unpacking - if I want to get straight to the review, there's always the fast forward button.

For me it's a great reference to see what I'm about to get, the parts included and (slightly off topic) how to assemble some of the trickier pieces (both statues and 1:6 figures). Sometimes the included instructions aren't entirely clear (or not in English) so it's nice to be able to watch a tutorial in a sense.

I respect that each reviewer brings a little something different to the table. Again, a little bit off topic from strictly statue reviewers but I appreciate everything from Sean Long (short review, quick edits) to Optibotimus (long format) and all types of videos in between.

It's a great time to be a collector today and be in this hobby. I don't recall having such a variety of products lines or the online resources growing up even 10-20 years ago. We've come so far.

I like the unboxing videos. What I don't care for is having to hear some song verses the person's opinions on the piece.

I love any that are well done from someone I appreciate. Videos are what got me into collecting.
Others always notice things I would miss.

I enjoy whatever videos people put up, though I can do without the crap soundtracks some people use, I mean, really, I can't hear what you are saying over Rammstein blasting in the background. Some statue's there is hardly anything online anyway, so whatever I can find is nice.

Some guy in the UK bought a dinosauria statue and tore that box to shreds, was really rough with it, was like, wth dude, take it easy!
