How do you guys afford this hobby

I'm only 18 but I only recently got into this just bought the t-800 and should get it this week,But that all I can afford to get and there are so many figures I want but can't get how do you guys manage what you get and don't get

After hovering around here for a few months I've come to the conclusion that people spend way too much money on this hobby. And they are able to do so mostly because they (and or their parents) are quite well off. This is a generalization, of course, but a generalization by definition applies generally.

I would seriously doubt there is a high percentage of folks who or are young enough to be still under parents wing so to speak.

As far as I can tell most folks are just hard working folks that put money aside for these.

I myself do extra work to fund them.

I've been around here long enough to know that many folks here work damned hard to fund their acquisitions, and they're happy to prioritise these purchases because the hobby gives them pleasure. In general terms I think this to be the case rather than any notion that figure and statue collectors are especially well off.

I'm actually thinking of selling sone of my boxes as i dont plan on selling the figures, i also rarely use the accessories depending on the figure

I pretty much bought a whole new set for T2 Arnie cuz i wanted the minigun set up, doubt i'll use much else, maybe the shotgun

Although i would keep the Superman box, that things a display piece on it's own!

Does anyone else do this to save space?
