I don't have a red light but...

This really is a fantastic looking diorama. Quality is top notch. Joost and his dad are masters. Your tribute to Carrie has done her proud.

I've been saving for the other Tantive diorama but with the emperor and his guards now on the table, things are getting more complicated decision wise.

Edit: Add one in the detolf:

Mine arrived today. I missed FedEx yesterday and they needed a sig so I didn't leave my house until it was delivered. This one is going in the bookshelves that flank my TV in my living room (which is currently collectible free and is a place dedicated to actually books, book inspired decor and decorative vases. Way too much thought, attention to detail and love went into this piece to put it in one of my detolfs. Not to mention my mom walked into my house the other day and she saw the Hulk vs. Wolvie statue in the middle of my dining table as a centerpiece while my kids ate dinner. She asked me if I purchase all of this stuff as an investment, since she couldn't comprehend another possible reason. I had to explain to her, that while the occasional figure my increase in value, I don't get any of them with sale in mind. I then tried to explain to her that there is a community that appreciates and shares observations and opinions on what I consider to be art. I specifically mentioned this set which has been designed/engineered and hand packaged and shipped from Europe for a small subset of the group of like minded collectors. When I showed her pictures and told her where Joost was developing these kits she was amazed (and slightly bewildered). As a result of that reaction this is getting main living room show space. When people see and start to appreciate the detail and the time put into these dioramas they have a brief understanding of why I collect, spend meaningful money, and maintain a sense of pride about my collection. Keep up the great work Joost and Joost's dad!! I'm definitely in for the ext one and will basically plan to purchase there sets as long as you still lie to make them@

Wow thank you so much for that!! What a great message. Made my dad emotional. Anyway, now we're curious. Where did you tell your mom I develop these?

In my mind you make them in a Secret underground lair.

WHO SHOWED YOU!!!!! I'm sorry, but now, we'll have to kill you and everyone who has seen this picture. Also, now that you have found our Round Table Room, you know where we keep excalibur. How unfortunate...

I am most impressed with this Diorama. I blame Joost for the stripper pole shots, as he called it that one time too many in his videos. I intentionally mismatched the pipes because I like how it looks. Since I am not using a detolf I also have it slightly opened and spread apart to give more of a circular impression.

*hahaha* Thanks so much! As for the stripper pole, I didn't come up with that term, but I cannot remember where I got it from. Anyway. Looks good! Maybe I should offer a much wider floor as an optional extra for people like you, who display theirs outside a detolf

That could really sway me onboard for this diorama. The piece is really beautiful, but I find it really distracting that it is "squashed" horizontaly due to detolf dimension limitation. Wider floor corridor would make the circular walls form a circle.
Will you be doing that maybe?
Anyway, how many pieces are still available of this diorama?

I'm about 75% sold out. I will make a cost calculation of that extra floor including engraving and paint.

I'd be in for a second wider floor as I don't use detolfs. I was going to send the rest of my payment today but maybe I should hold off until you make a cost decision?

You could send your payment today no problem. I'll just hold your kit if you want and you can decide if you want to pay for the upgrade with the second, wider floor. To all who have the kit. What would you say to 230mm wide? (instead of the current 157 mm wide). Then it'll line up very closely to the width of the floor at the bottom of the back ground graphic

It's hard to Know the exact measurements since I do not have the pieces, but I think you are right to try to match it to background. I think Subdomain got it pretty good...

Yeah, I thought so too, but when I zoom in on his picture, he has set it back slightly, so it's a little narrower than the widest point of the grey floor in the background ground image
