how long to wait on an ebay buyer not paying?

Off topic, but I am sick and tired of these buyers messaging me asking for me to sell my items at less than half the cost I put the item up for and after I reply telling them I can't do that they get snarky and cop an attitude about it.

Anyone else get tired of this? Do you even reply because I'm inclined to not give these people the time of day any longer.

Oddly enough I just got another request. I'm going to not respond. Since its not a question about the item or shipping I don't feel the need to reply.
