Guys - it's all about the futzing IMO - check this pic out of the same sculpt (Neo bought it from Snake Eater). Looks perfect here IMO

Yeah, not sure what happened with that sculpt but it's by far the weakest one I've seen from Imaresqd1 so far.

I agree - it dosent appear to carry as much quality as some of his others

That sculpt looks great and it's an awesome pic, definitely just needs the collar futzed. Even in the movie when Heath's collar rode up and he did the broad shoulder/neck hunched thing, his lower face would look fat. I think it's great how that sculpt has actually captured that! Like these but his head tilted further down

The make up doesn't match though, the sculpt is too clean.

If it's based off that and the eyes are the wrong positions if it's based off the above with the movie camera green backings.

I'm confused which one it's meant to resemble.

Did he pull a Manji attempt then with the paint? since it's far too clean and buff. The chin doesn't even match the real photo. In the real photo he's not pushing his shoulders into his neck.

As that was the photo I was trying to base mine off. I'm just saying.

Snake Eater mentioned a repaint there. So maybe he wasn't thrilled with the paint job either!?

As you know, for whatever prices these are going it shouldn't be needing a repaint and to fork out even more money.

And yeah maybe the chin is a little rounder in the sculpt than the image, but overall i still think it's a killer sculpt, but not among Adam's top 3 say (which would be the laughing, the promo pic one posted in the last couple of pages, and blakus's one)

..........yeah, I saw a pic of it in the Term thread and I was like holy shiat. Its incredible to see how bad Manji's hair ended up compared to this one Yours is is bad ass though, I told Adam to give me this one

I forgot about that one! Another masterpiece! I'm sure you'll be very happy with the end result - i've seen in progress pics of mine and they look stunning.

Bobby C's work is stunning of course too - both have a different style and the likeness is pretty dead on in both cases. I think Adam's joker heads bring out more of Heath, so they're more suited to the scenes where you could somewhat tell it was Heath under the makeup (interrogation scene, party scene come to mind).

Whereas Bobby's is clearly based off the mob scene, which is one of the scenes where the makeup was thicker and you could barely tell it was Heath under there because of both the makeup and the acting.

Not sure if i'm making any sense. Just my $0.02.

I hear ya mate. I love how most of these customs really, REALLY look like Heath Ledger. Like they are actually Heath sculpts, just with the joker makeup/scarring etc added, just like in the movie. Some of the other sculpts, it's just hard to tell who's under there/all that makeup.

^ That last picture posted, is easily the most epic head of all time imho. It was Adam's very own wasn't it, or was it sold on Ebay? I'd really love to know who owns it. Just perfect, looks like a real photo. Plus, I'm anticipating more pics of his newest 'promo shot' head too

Adam sculpt each of these, one by one. There are no recasts made.

While, BobbyC makes a sculpt, and recast it and then sell it??

Regardless, both are very talented individuals, and they deliver masterpiece work!
