Interesting point actually, I do believe Adam may have a base sculpt that he makes casts off to make these, and then adds or changes the details. Some of them are just too identical imho, especially sculpted section hairwise

only way to see this is if you got 2 of his sculpts and compare them side by side, which I suspect you do buddy

I'll have to compare the laugher when it arrives, but I remember looking over Manji's, I think it was, and my own. They both looked identical in base sculpts, whichever one it was.

Yeah i'm sure he uses some base to work off and changes the details according to customer preferences.

I'm going to borrow the magazine photography camera from work to take some proper pics of them all, so should be good Our actual photographer has some 12 thousand dollar thing and is such a freakin gun, but he lives too far away to make the trip worthwhile

Doubt it - apart from the fact that BobbyC's has 100% real hair and (i'm assuming) some kind of glass eyes, Adam's sculpts themselves are just as good as Bobby's (IMO). So yeah, I don't think anything will change with regards to the value / price.

To each his own - but just to clarify, I should have said the BEST of Adam's aculpts are just as good as Bobby's - and to me the best single one so far is the laughing one. It is absolutely 100% bang on. Now if one imagines that sculpt with 100% real hair of the quality of Bobby's - I think it would be on par with Bobby's mob scene head.

I guess its too early to do comparison. Since we have seen a bunch of adam's, and none from bobby just yet.

Bob couldve go with a much easier route, and just sell recast like sunohc, xeno, feng etc, but he didn't. I think he's trying to actually raise the bar on the accuracy and realism of the 1/6 head.

Oh and plus Adam is a complete jerk when it comes to communication, thats a big part of the whole experience imo. Adam is nothing short of a disgrace when it comes to this!

On the other hand i cant remember waiting more than 24hrs for a reply from Bobby

Well I guess the best comparison would be in hand once I can line up Bobby's head with Adam's - can't wait until I can do that!

I love both guys' work and plan to own one of each for my collection.

Regarding the ease of communication point - I have not found either Bobby or Adam easy to communicate with, i guess both are really busy guys and get lots of PMs/emails

Well, got my Joker kit in from Snake Eater today, including the BillyB shirt and tie as well as clothes from the DX and V1 Jokers, put it all together and felt like snapping a few pics. I still need to do a little futzing with the tie, but I'm quite happy with it. Think I finally finished putting the figure together.
